Wild Goat Bistro is one of our fav downtown restaurants because they are dog friendly! They have the best outdoor seating that... accommodates our dogs! In addition to their super dog friendly policy their food is very diverse and their are options for all!They have a great vegan menu, as well as delicious food for all! Great service, nice menu, shepherds pie was pretty greasy (like a pool of oil at the bottom). I would say due for a second visit... and potential upgrade to 5 stars with a different dish, hopefully a bit more refined. Read more
Man, is this restaurant beautiful. Probably the prettiest restaurant in town. Food's great too! There are creative vegetarian... options and their salads are amazing. I wish they would bring back the enoki mushroom sandwich though. That was seriously oneof the best sandwiches I've ever had. Read more
First time experience, waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Some people that came after me was seated before me, and the food... also delivered faster to them. We were ready to order, but it took about 5 minutes to be acknowledged by the waitress. Afterordering, we waited about 35 more minutes, and we were running out of time. I figured, it’s busy, lunch time so I’ll justtake the food and eat it at home. To my surprise, the sandwich is very tiny, and the apples had the sticker on it. This place is fantastic, but for more than simply the food. I ordered the large potato dish, a large meatball dish, the Farmers... Daughter salad, Shepard's Pie, margarita pizza (not pictured), a strawberry rhubarb dessert, and a carrot cake. All the food waswell prepared, fresh ingredients, and very satisfying (especially the salad and those taters!) but what especially stood out wasthe service. I picked up the order and after I got to the hotel where my wife and 5 week old were, we realized there was nopizza. After calling and the owner picking up, she offered first to deliver it to me herself after work, then to refund theentire order (like almost $140 after tip!). I thought that was excessive and declined because the food looked and smelledamazing and that's not what small business owners need to do to win my business. We had a longer conversation than will beshared here, but suffice to say the high quality of the food is reflective of the high caliber of the operation as a whole andits leadership. Farm to table fare. Whatever is in season is on the menu. We had the "In Season" pizza. Incredible. Caramelized onion sauce with... prosciutto, peaches, brie and mint. It was like a ham & pineapple but different. It was brilliant. So good. The staff wasfriendly, helpful and endearing. I need to go back and try everything!
