Nice folks but it looked like everything was grossly over-roasted, as almost all beans were nearly black and glistening in oil. ... I purchased House Blend and Burundi whole beans. Prepared in a French press and confirmed my observations. The roast smokinesscompletely overpowered the flavors of the coffee. Parker and Sons is a small quaint shop with a great environment. Quiet seating and great service. The baristas are always... pleasant and knowledgeable. The coffee and tea selections are very good and offer different and unique selections such as amaple latte. Teas are made to order using loose leaf selections. The drinks, hot food, and baked goods are of top notch qualityand always made to order. Their shop also features local soaps, jams and handcrafted glass items. Travellers, this is an adorable cafe with a wonderful selection of coffees and teas, and the cafe serves sandwiches too. All the... sandwiches are fine and tasty, especially the chicken salad sandwich and the bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwich. The grilledcheese is nice too.
