From the location and look of the front outside, we thought this could be a great, eclectic place to grab a quick, healthy... snack. However, during our visit, the dingy, none too clean, and dark interior, plus the unhygienic way the people behind thecounter dressed and handled the food, and the rash I developed within 30 mins of taste testing and eating their salads were morethan enough reasons for us to avoid ever returning to this restaurant. Ya, ya, I know, we should have left once we entered andsaw the interior and or thrown the food away after viewing their food handling, but a friend swore to us the salads were goodand we should try them. Sadly, the salads and restaurant were not to our liking and we cannot recommend it. Small restaurantin a takeout style with a chalkboard menu. Pricey for what you get. No wheelchair accessibility. Paid street parking. Read more

I ordered the smoked salmon sandwich for take away today. Honestly, IT WAS THE BEST SANDWICH OF MY LIFE! Even without this... life changing sandwich I would have given you 5 stars as I have always loved your yummy salads, awesome staff, your use of localproduce, and responsible packaging. Read more

I grabbed lunch to go and was very pleasantly surprised. This is a gem of a lunch place! I had a small salad and was able to try... three different salads of the 8 or 10 on offer. I chose a curried chick pea, an Asian noodle and a maple and balsamic glazedbeets. All three were delightful, full of flavor and fresh ingredients. I topped that off with chocolate diablo cookies-ginger,cayenne and rock salt-wow! Their menu is posted everyday online. Read more

My friend and I had seen a lot of people coming and going from here and decided to try it for lunch. I had the potato dill salad... with Montreal smoked meat sandwich combo. The bread and food was out of this world! My friend had the roasted chicken sandwichwith chick pea salad and some coleslaw. She loved hers as well! Apparently, we heard murmurs from the patrons that the soups arewonderful but they didn't have any on the menu yesterday. You can take out of sit down. Cute spot, great food and friendlyworkers! Incredible salad selections (in addition to many sandwiches and plates)! I've never been more satisfied from just eating salads... for lunch. Best lunch spot in downtown Peterborough, for sure! Reasonable prices, and flavours are always amazing! Dine in attheir beautiful book shop at the harvest table, or take out a bunch of salads in several sizes. They also do great catering! Read more

We ate at by By The Bridge while on vacation. The food was stunning both visually and on the pallette. We had children ranging... from 5-14 and they were able to please everyone. We had a gluten free roast beef wrap and a peanut chicken sandwich with sidesof vermicelli pasta, chick pea salad and ginger lime slaw. It is such a pleasure to find restauranteurs with such a passion forawesome food. Read more
