Could have been the worst coffee I've ever had at a Country Style. Firstly I asked for Dark Roast...it tasted like a warm bath... water dipped with a brown crayon for colouring. Country Style used to have good coffee but this was brutal. The donut I had wasnice and fresh but I'm not sure I'll be back for their java. Read more
Ordered a half-dozen doughnuts. No complaints about the quality, but not impressed being charged a-la-carte for the 6 doughnuts.... $9.40 is a pretty excessive for a half-dozen doughnuts. Won't ever return for pricing like that. Read more
Under new management and slightly under staffed; the country style part is great. However, the Mr. Sub had always been my go to... (since I work 1 min down the highway) but has tasted....off lately. Not to mention the stomach issues that came along. Read more
I love this place. First of all their donuts taste like real donuts. Tim Hortons Donuts used to taste like these but now they... don't. They have sugar twists like the Tim Hortons of my childhood and were unfortunately out of the orange cruellers. Thebathroom smelled of bleach which is exactly the way a truckstop bathroom ought to smell, and the staff were super friendly. Weneed a Coffee Time in Ottawa. Read more
Customer service was excellent. Very friendly and quick to serve. My Steak and Cheese from Mr. Sub tasted fresh and delicious... and the iced coffee was nice and cold. The dining area was very clean as well. Read more
Stopped for a quick sandwich on the way back downtown. Great service. The staff was really friendly. Only complaint is that the... sandwich my brother ordered gave him some pretty bad gas so we had to drive most of the way home with the windows down. Read more
This is an ok stop when heading east from Toronto to Ottawa. If you don't want to drive into Peterborough proper and you need... that pit stop before making it to the next town because you are feeling the Hangry setting in, this will do in a pinch.Otherwise, if you have time, I would take the short trip down Lansdowne into Peterborough where many more options exist. Serviceis only okay at best and if you are later in the day the food selection gets pretty pitiful. Read more
