Best BBQ me and my partner have EVER HAD. the ribs, and pulled pork, and brisket deserve a reward. YOU WILL NOT REGRET!!

Staff was fantastic. I went with 3 other guys. I had the half rack of ribs and fries, they had various other things (pulled... pork, prime rib burger, brisket tacos, sweet potato fries, etc) everyone loved what they had the only thing we didn't superenjoy was their hottest wings, the heat was great but the flavour was just 'okay', but that didn't ruin the experience. Our server was cordial and attentive, which I greatly appreciated. The beef brisket quesadilla was juicy, smokey and delectable.... I highly recommend it! The turkey bacon sub on a ciabatta bun was meaty and satisfying. Paired with crispy sweet potato friesmade for a perfect meal. Another must try! Read more
My husband and I ordered brisket, ribs, turkey, chicken wings, and coleslaw. The brisket and ribs are alright, but smoked meat... should taste good with the initial spices it's smoked with - shouldn't need bbq sauce brushed on top to add flavor. Turkey wasour least favorite. My son and I came here for an early dinner and sat ourselves at a table. The server took our order (chicken, turkey, mac and... cheese, nachos) and it arrived as ordered and didn't take long. We were not impressed with the portion sizes, small for the cost- except the nachos which were a good size. The turkey was very dry. We didn't finish it and threw out the leftovers at home.The mac and cheese was just ok, not worth the $11 for a small portion. The chicken was very good. Besides the cost, my majorissue was that the server never came back after dropping off the food. She never checked on us to see if everything was ok or ifwe needed drink refills. (We were not drinking alcohol). The place was not busy. A few customers on the patio, our table, and abunch of guys at the bar. She seemed only concerned with the bar guys, talking with them and getting them more beer. This reallyticked me off. I couldn't even catch her eye or wave her down as she never even looked at us. I am a good tipper but did notwant to leave her anything as we were ignored until we got up to leave. I had such high hopes for Dr J's and really wanted toenjoy it but we won't be back. Read more
Was a great night out. Was way more food than expected but it was top notch. Poor server was run off her feet but we managed. As... I am an avid Smoker as well I am a tough critic of our dinners out which are limited because of let down after let down. The Macand Cheese was on point and $11 for a small order may seem alot but this is made from scratch. The Redneck Nachos was a meal initself but as an app it was too big. Half the size for $12 would sell more. We would come back to enjoy the full platter for $23with drinks. Wings were off the hook and the dipping sauce was great with the Crown Maple wings. Hand cut fries tied the meal inwell. Brisket was moist and flavorful just missed the traditional smoke ring. Their pulled pork was as good as mine and peoplelove mine. Great ambience but was missing the Smokehouse smell as we pulled up but that could have been because of a slow night.Will be back again soon. Read more
