I am honestly so disappointed with Hockey Sushi. This has been our favorite sushi place, and have come here weekly, sometimes... more for over 13 years. Today we arrived with 6 guests for lunch. One of us does not like sushi, and just wanted a beverage,and an order of Fries. We were told that this person had to go sit at a table by himself in fear that we would sneak him food(which he doesn't like) we left the restaurant, and will not be back. Sushi was good but nothing impressive. Slightly more expensive than other places I've been to. I ordered takeout so I can't... speak for the service, but staff were friendly when I was picking up my food. Overall there are better options for better pricesin Peterborough, but it's a solid choice. Read more
very amazing food!, but terrible customer service and liars. i went here with my girlfriend are food was $83.60 and i gave them... $100 all in 20?s and she said it wasn?t enough so i gave her a $5 bill i didn?t even realize i did until i looked and i didn?thave anymore 20?s i went back and asked for my receipt and confronting her knowing 110% what happened and i wasn?t right, andshe said no it didn?t happen. sorry can?t help you, than i asked about my change because it was $83.60 and i ?gave $85? actually$105 and she didn?t even give me the right change. so just be careful when u go here!! I really do love this place. I go maybe once a week with my partner and my daughter. They have lots of options and the food... always comes out fresh. The staff are very friendly and I?ve never had to wait more than 20 for our first order. Read more
Perhaps it was a bad day for the restaurant, as my daughter went there before and liked it. But, I have eaten in many all you... can eat sushi restaurants , so I feel I should be able to compare, This was terrible. The calamari is usually my favourite, butI had to send it back here.Honestly, there was nothing that I liked. Plus, had to ask for wasabi and ginger. Portions werehuge, if that is a positive. Typical sushi all you can eat. Food came quickly to our table. Orders were accurate. This was a dinner where old friends met... for not only the food but for a visit/get together of friends who had not been out for quite awhile, therefore we were therelonger than we normally would be. Eventually the waitress came and basically said unless we were ordering more, it was time topay and get out!. It was perhaps 1/2-3/4 of an hour before close.
