It took 20 minutes just to be asked for drinks or for a server to even come to our table. Then an additional 15 minutes to get... the drinks which two of them they then told us they couldn?t make (smoothies) because the strawberries were frozen. So thedrinks had to be changed. Then when we finally got all the drinks out order was taken. I ordered the waffles and the waffle Igot is those Belgian waffles you get at the grocery store that is wrapped in plastic. All they did was warm it up. There is anobvious difference between a freshly made waffle and store bought. Staff also wasn?t very friendly either. We also came in agroup of 7 but split into two different tables (which is fine) and they had a horrible experience too. Will never go back tothis location. Read more

I had a fantastic post lock down breakfast here. This was my first visit to this establishment. It's located in the Portage... Place Mall with more than ample parking. The restaurant was beautiful inside and out. With the interior being bright andsparkling clean. Our server was amazing, friendly and efficient. And the food was off the charts. I wish I could give 10 stars! Even though it's Father's day they found us a spot right away. They were totally swamped but the... service was fast and the food is amazing! Perfectly cooked, huge portions and decent prices. And our waitress Sheri was a gem.Even being at the end of a crazy, rushed shift she was not only so nice but hilarious too! Such a great experience. When ordering my girlfriend asked if she could switch out the pancake for a French toast slice as she had done before. Sever... came back and said they couldn?t because the owners were working in the kitchen and refused to accommodate. The owners refusedto make a very small change to make a customer happy. There?s lots of wonderful breakfast places in this city willing to make asmall change for customers. The food was not good. Cold bacon, hard as rock home fries and very dry eggs. Delicious waffles and pancakes, dressed or stuffed with your choice of toppings. Yummy sausage, crispy bacon and hasbrowns. All... at good prices. Super cheesey and meaty omlettes. Very bright, clean and modern dining room with lot's of booth seating. Speedyand professional service as well. +1 for non spilling teapots! Great place for breakfast. Super busy especially considering most places were without hydro due to a horrific storm. Seated ... quickly and had a waitress come by almost immediately to take drink orders. Coffee was quick to arrive and refilled frequently. Our meal took quite a while but as I said it was super busy. The food was exactly as ordered, hot and large portions. Thecinnamon pancakes are to die for. My husband said the only thing that would make this better is if they had smoked salmon eggsBenny, but honestly, there are a ton of choices . Can't wait to go back. We discovered this place today and had delicious meals. We ordered Mexican Hash and Southwest Eggs Benedict. Both delicious and... portions are ample. In addition, they were served with smiles! We love this place and will be back soon. Read more

Placed order well in advance for a 10am pick up and I realized it hit rush on Saturday morning, but they were still a few... minutes late, completely unorganized for take-out environment while line-ups were huge for dine-in. There is no separate lineor wait area for takeout - that's a big deal especially during a 4th waive pandemic. I can forgive the food being late, ittasted what you should expect, there won't be no surprises. Milk in scrambled eggs for any that may take issue, just be awarethat's default. They missed 1 sausage link in our order, but again I can forgive it since they are a new place that gotoverwhelmed. I do not have a picture of the place because we got takeout. Our order was Family breakfast for 4 with wafflesand french toast. Cinnabun cake and side of bacon. Breakfast was supposed to come with 2 sausages for each person, it camewith 7 instead of 8. This is not going to stop me from trying again at a different time that hopefully doesn't have thempacked, but clearly they struggle under pressure.
