My daughter and I had lunch here yesterday. It was very busy but we were promptly seated and received our order really quickly.... The waitress was lovely and attentive. We both ordered off the lunch menu. I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate (3 skewers,potato, Greek salad, tzatziki) and I got a pita on the side and my daughter had a Greek salad. We both LOVED our food.Everything was perfection and it was less than $30 including taxes and tip. Very impressed! Will go back again. Read more
With the majority of restaurants in Peterborough taking up permanent residence in gouge town ($$$), The Favourite Greek?s lunch... special is a welcome treat. It?s a generous portion, with fresh ingredients. Oh, and I highly recommend the hot sauce. Doyourself a favour and just pour the whole container on your food, don?t test it first. By far, the best Greek food I've had in Ontario! We came for a day trip in Peterborough and looked up "best restaurants in... Peterborough". Found The Favourite Greek and were not disappointed. Wonderful and friendly service. The house red wine isamazing. The Greek salad was refreshing and tasty. The chicken souvlaki and lamb chops were seasoned and cooked to perfection.The best Greek rice I've ever had in my life! We will come back to Peterborough just to eat here! Read more
I rarely ever post bad reviews on anything.. but this was my Second time eating here, food is good but my experience was not.... First time eating there, I got the Caesar Salad with chicken and found that they don?t put a lot of chicken at all.. I just camein to get it again except with ?double meat? this time, only to find the same amount of chicken again lol asked if this wasdouble meat and he confirmed it was, i just chuckled and walked away. Very Rude and Arrogant gentleman helped us not sure who hewas. I have attached a picture of the salad (which is about a 20$ salad after the ?extra chicken?).
