After over a year in Petoskey and driving by it all the time, I finally decided to give it a shot based on my best friend's... recommendation. I'm so bummed I didn't eat there long ago. The last true Indian food I ate was at a coworker's home about 15years ago. I tried one Indian restaurant afterwards and it was such a disappointment. Aamchi isn't much to look at and isburied in a strip mall next to my favorite Big Apple Bagel, but the food is amazing! I had the Mix Grill, which is tandoorimade, and the garlic naan. It was a ton of delicious food... more than I should have eaten, but I wasn't taking leftovers home!Including a diet Coke and a hefty tip, I dropped $36. A true bargain. You will not be disappointed. Apparently, they have anadults-only buffet on Sunday's. I so wish I was staying through the weekend just for that! The people there were so nice, too. Read more

Amazing Indian Food!! If you want to entice your pallet. Recommend a must go.
This is a gem of a place!! The quality of indian food is amazing. They have the best gulab jamun!! and onion pakora were as... crisp as possible. Door dash delayed my order due to the dasher's nonavailability, but the person at the restaurant waited extraso that my orders get picked up by the end of the day. Slam dunk, home run, touchdown?sixer. Delicious food with the right amount of oil, spices, and body. We had a few dishes and an... appetizer and left suitably impressed. Definitely would recommend and return when back in town. Read more
This has easily become our go to place for my partner and I. We've been here maybe 7 times now, and the food is consistently... amazing each time we get it! My only suggestion would be to add some type of music inside the restaurant to give to thatauthentic experience, but aside from that everything is perfect! Read more
Amazing food! Amazing staff! Highly recommend! I?m vegan and almost half their menu is vegan! Amazing. I?d give them more stars... if I could!
