Food is great as other BE locations. Management seems poor. Tables open yet line was asked to wait 20-30 minutes, while take out... seemed the best choice at the Petoskey location. I know good staff is very hard to find at this time. I'll try dine in againwhen time permits. Read more

We get drastically different food and service at the different locations around us. This one was dissapointing to say the least.... I asked for my home fries to be a little lighter than the dark brown (almost burnt) that they all have been serving them for thelast 2 years or so. They brought them out under cooked & hard. Biscuit was so hard I literally couldn't cut it with a fork(there's a splutely no way they didn't know this) and even the top half under the gravy on the other side was dry and inedible.I had asked for a small dish of extra gravy and had to ask again because it wasn't brought out. Bad experience all around. Had to wait 15 minutes to be seated (place was almost empty, with only people at 5 tables and there... were 3 waitresses). Waited 20 minutes to be waited on, then Saw a waitress wearing a mask that stuck her fingers into acustomers food to check to see if warm (plate was under the warmer light about 5 minutes). I ordered the French toast and it was on brioche bread and DELICIOUS! The syrup was warm when our server brought it out, nice... touch! I ordered the sausage patties, much better than the links, in my opinion. Read more
When we first arrived the old lady that checks you in, is to slow, she should only be running ??????? the till, an not seating... people an helping the waitresses serve food. She was having 2 people sit an wait for tables, when the place wasn't even busy.They need more experience people at the head of the business. Although our waitress was good, her name was Theresa. Very good service. Their honey bacon was delicious and the value bowl thing I got was good. My wife had the protein bowl and... enjoyed that. I also got an order of biscuits and gravy and I wasn't very impressed with that. The gravy was super dark (as youcan see in the picture) and almost tasted like a beef gravy, and the sausage was super crumbled vs chunks. Overall nice placebut not as good as the one I went to in big rapids. Read more
