Chandler's is consistently one of the best dining spots in Petoskey. The chef understands flavor and always seems to get the... balance right. Dishes are presented without ostentation. Creativity is also somewhat lacking, but the combination of ingredientsis usually spot on and well executed. The atmosphere hovers between fine dining and sports bar. The staff is excellent. We havealways had attentive and friendly servers and the timing of delivery is prompt, but not overly aggressive. On our last visit, Ihad the duck beast. The bed of mixed grains and vegetables has a nice texture and was amplified be the delicious red winereduction sauce. Most importantly, I ordered it cooked medium rare. It is common to overcook this temperature, but the kitchennailed it! Read more

A fantastic place for a nice dinner. High quality service and food. It's a small place and reservations are recommended, but not... required. The chicken tacos stole the show for us, but everything was delicious ???? Read more

Beef tip tacos were in special for lunch, but their version of a Reuben was our favorite. A tall sandwich, but constructed so... well that none of the insides fell out while eating it or cutting it into quarters. The dipping sauce that comes with it isexcellent! Also tried the bourbon bath martini and it was excellent. Make sure you stop next door to their wine cellar andgeneral store, such a cool place! Read more

Unique lunch menu - the southern chicken sandwich had great flavor but there was so much sauce on it the bread got soggy.... Visiting Petoskey from the U.P. for the day, we came for a quick lunch with our 3 year old. Although they did not offer a kid'smenu, they accommodated making him a grilled cheese sandwich and chocolate milk to drink. Small dining area and busy duringlunch. Would like to come back for drinks another time as they had a nice selection of wines. Read more

I will start by saying you definitely should put in a reservation as it is a smaller place. It's tucked in what seems to be an... alley with old wooden decor. But don't let that fool you as the food is absolutely amazing. We ordered the red wine braisedColorado lamb shank and halibut. Both dishes were delicious. Definitely one of the best lamb shanks I've had. Paul was a greattaking care of us and knew both the food menu and the wine list very well. Read more

Love Chandler’s but have never been for brunch. Limited menu, but that is an advantage, as the dishes are fantastic. The... French toast rates in the top of my fav list. Light, with perfect balance of sweet and caramelized sugar. Biscuits and gravygreat as well. Drinks, excellent! And great service, as always. Read more

We dined in the wine cellar on a Monday by reservation through the website. An easy process and glad we did as it seems this... establishment is regularly busy. Beautiful decor in the cellar, cozy and intimate. The food was fine, It was cooked well and anenjoyable evening. The best part was the Halibut that was cooked perfectly, however, the Parmigian Risotto was a bit toooverpowering and thick. A different side dish would elevate that fish to the level it deserves. The Ahi Tuna appetizer is alsoworth mentioning. The red curry sauce that adorns it was brilliant! We will dine here again. Read more
