Love the look inside, gorgeous bar. Dinner options are superb! The filet is delicious as well as the applebutter pork loin. The... fresh, hot biscuits are tasty as well. We went another day to split a sandwich for lunch & we were not impressed with the clubsandwich, especially for the cost. We also tried dessert & the chocolate cake was very dry. We were glad we added a scoop ofice cream however it still wasn't great. We would definitely go back & stick with dinner choices! Read more

City Park Grill was a nice stop in Petoskey! My wife had the Salmon Sandwich; that she loved (you could actually choose from... three types of fish) w/ fries. I had the City Park Club with house made barbecue Chips! Everything tasted great, was fresh andsmelled even better! We even got served a warm biscuit as we waited for our food to come out. You can also enjoy a fantasticselection of drinks and beer of all sorts as well! Kind of a darker atmosphere which was a little odd, but the artwork and tinceiling tiles pulled it all together. Another great food stop we made while vacationing to Petoskey! Located in the downtown area, it's a perfect place to stop for an... adult beverage and something to eat, while you walk, shop and explore the downtown Petoskey area! I had the Fish Sandwich, therewas 3 different fish options and I chose the salmon, I chose fries as my other side option and it came with a pickle spear! Myhubby got the Club sandwich and he chose their homemade BBQ seasoned chips as his side, those we very good, extremely flavorful& crunchy, he enjoyed his meal thoroughly!! We arrived at 6:30pm on a Wednesday and got an outside table right away. The service was great - 5 stars. The food was meh to... below meh, 2 stars for the food. I got the reuben with BBQ chips, the sandwich was average and boy I've had a lot of BBQ chips,and these were without a doubt the worst in the history of BBQ chips. They were flavorless ash. Go with a different side. Mywife got the cubano, it was generally lacking in flavor, too. Good selection of drinks, again great service. Maybe it was an offnight for the kitchen. Read more
Service was great. Awesome owners and family. Prices are good for downtown. Their biscuits they bring out are awesome. I had... their 5 cheese penne pasta and my brother had their fried perch. The pasta was good but the cheese sauce wasn't great. Veryrunny, almost soupy as you will see in the picture. I would like to come back again and try something else on the menu when it'snot Friday during Lent. Every other experience I've had great food and my wife loves their food. We really enjoyed the character of this restaurant. It was a great place for a relaxing dinner out. Service was prompt. Menu and... drink options fit a sweet spot between having some variety and not being overwhelming. My wife had the caprese grilled cheesesandwich. She loved the tomato and pesto addition to this classic. I had a Chicago-style burger. It had very good flavor, butvery few mushrooms or bacon. It didn't seem like a $14 burger.
