The sign says where the locals eat, boy I feel bad for the locals! Instant mashed potatoes, frozen over cooked burger for the... kiddo, the only thing decent was the wing dings and that's because they are bought pre done. Even the wings were over cooked sothere was just a little meat on them. I definitely wouldn't come back I always support local but in this case I'd rather go toApplebee's up the road. Great Service! They always make space for our extra large group. Wait staff is nice. Food is good, but kinda pricey IMO. Very... very cold inside in the summer. Needed a coat & a blanket. Read more

Stopped here for dinner on a brisk early May evening because of the reviews. This was touted as a ?locals? hot spot and the... crowd sure seemed the part. The host was a kid and not very affable but we didn?t mind. Our waitress was a pro and got us ourfood in good time. Food was good ? this place is not pretentious and offers reliable diner grub. Everyone was content with theirmeals: kids Mac n Cheese, a quarter pounder burger (with bacon), a French Dip and Spaghetti with meat sauce. The ?Red Chili? wasvery good - spicy! Very good food! One of the few places left that you can get a great breakfast, great service at a decent price. Their skillet is... one of the better ones around! This is a favorite for breakfast and I have enjoyed coming here since I was a child! Read more
Really great place to eat. Their breakfast was good. Their omelettes and hash browns are very good. Left a pot of coffee at our... table so we could keep refilling our own coffee. Service was top notch. Couldn't even tell we were in the middle of a pandemic.Nice to have some normalcy. The owner was helping clean tables and cashed us out at the till. That's always nice to see. Should have realized when there are no cars in the lot. Host was great, nice, smiled.very nice young man. Empty except 4... tables. Waitress took forever, then very rude. Liver was paper thin. Fish pretty good. Seafood chowder "bottom of thebarrel" It's too bad that one of the best family restaurants in Petoskey has gone so downhill. We won't be back. What a shame Read more
