Still waiting for my water... (our server never brought me a new one after there was a floaty in it). Food was okay, but it... took FOREVER. We did not have great service and our server was extremely condescending from the start when we chose not to orderdrinks. The server checked in with us 4x total during our 2 hour stay due to the food coming out after 1.5 hours. We asked for adessert menu and had to ask for it again 45 minutes later which she begrudgingly got. She rolled her eyes and was judgy and hadan attitude with every interaction. The restuarant wasn't slow or super busy. The server treated the tables next to us with asignificantly different demeanor than she did us. We were kind and didn't put up a fuss but when we were assertive to ensure wehad water in a timely manner we were treated poorly. Extremely disappointed with the service and how we were treated. We stopped here for the incredible outdoor patio spaces and happy hour. We chose the upstairs patio where we had excellent... service and the best cosmo in town. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back and enjoy dinner inside with incredibleviews of the bay through the huge windows. Read more

Went here for a wedding rehearsal dinner. Food was alright, everything took forever. Kids meals came out last which was not... good. Pizza was so salty it was inedible... drinks were good and they made them strong. The view is gorgeous. The service was okat best. Not super friendly, but it was a large group. I will be taking my wife back just the two of us and updating the reviewbased on that meal, as I understand a rehearsal dinner may be out of the ordinary. Read more

I cannot recommend Palette Bistro highly enough. They hosted our COVID wedding/elopement in 2020, and it could not have gone... better. Everything was coordinated via email (which can be difficult!), yet everything still turned out beautifully, andhonestly even better than we expected. They allowed us to have the entire upstairs private room for our event, with a stunningview of the water. The food was delicious, served timely, and exactly what everyone had ordered. The service itself was alsoincredible; the team was attentive, fast, friendly, and helpful. It felt like we had the entire restaurant to ourselves with thefocus they allowed us. The pricing was very fair, especially for the quality and quantity of food and care we received. We neverfelt rushed or like we were overstaying our welcome. Ordered the forest floor soup and it was great. Served hot, tasted great. Crab cakes were good, complimentary potatoes were... cooked perfectly. Acorn squash, quinoa was cooked excellently, lamb was great, and the curry sauce really topped it off. Pricewas in line with the quality of the food and service. Lovely environment. Excellent service from Kasey. Mushroom soup was very good. Specialty Manhattan was a work of art and tasted... excellent. The balsamic reduction for the fresh bread was unique and delicious. The left a little bit too be desired. Was"good", but not exceptional. Press coffee added charm to the experience. Dinner on Aug 11. Made reservation a day ahead. The thin oven pizza was great and my family all loved the pizza texture and... flavor. Salad is good. Every table comes with complimentary bread. One suggestion is to heat up the bread before serving. Thedessert chocolate pudding with ice cream is great. Great overall experience. Read more

Cozy Mediterranean American spot with a view and a good bar program. Enjoyed my cocktails, as well as the wine list. Very... impressed with the forest floor soup as well, it had a rich mushroom flavor without being too thick or heavy on the cream. Therearen’t as many prominent independent restaurants in the Petosky area as there probably should be, which makes it extra nice tohave Palette around.
