Great pizza & burgers as well as great prices. And a beautiful view of Pewaukee Lake.

Good food. Reasonable beverage selection. Server, Walter, total jerk at every encounter tried to not let us sit down, but WE... worked it out with another table and instructed the waiter to buy them a round on us. He never did it. Didn't ask if we wanted abeverage until we went to bar to get our own. Brought order. Never asked if the food was good, never asked if we wantedadditional beverages, which we did. Tried to waive him down a couple times to no avail. Had to hunt him down for the bill atwhich time I told him that we wanted more to drink but we will now just take the bill. At which time he told me go sit down.When he bought the bill he gave it to another person and said 'thank you to those who were not rude'. Walter is one of the worstservers we have ever had and should be trained, if possible, or fired. We have a weekly group of 4-15 people and thought thatwe would try Curleys. Will we go back? Ok, so I don?t typically write reviews unless something is really really awesome or really really bad. Today?s lunch experience... was really bad. The only reason I?m giving our experience two stars instead of just one is because my vodka lemonade wasactually good. My wife had water, which she said was good too! And because they were out of several other apps on the menu, wetried the breaded mushrooms which weren?t very flavorful but at least they arrived a little warm. Unfortunately, the drinks werethe only things that were good and it went downhill from there. We aren?t too tough to please but a day before our 32ndanniversary, we thought it would be fun to eat lunch with a lake view. It didn?t even bother us that we had to wipe our owntable down from prior guests. No biggie- we totally didn?t care. But the food? It was bad. Just bad. And we totally didn?t evencare about the price today. I ordered the French Dip sandwich and ?upgraded? to get haystacks. Both came out cold. And Idon?t mean just chilly. Ice cold. I was super hungry and left half of it there. Dipping a cold French dip sammy into cold Aujus is just not how you want to eat them. I have never ever left haystacks on my plate in my life. Ever. My wife ordered theceasar chicken wrap. Although not horrible like mine, it wasn?t very flavorful either. And the chips they serve with thesandwiches taste generic-like. I did feel bad for the poor young lady running around, bartending by herself AND waiting tablesall on her own- seemed she and the cook were the only ones working. No wonder it was all cold. When I went to pay the bill,there was another worker, a man, who took my money. The poor young lady mentioned she just lost her summer help, I do hope theyget at least another server to help them. Great place took a ride out there food was delicious. Had a Great pizza would recommend it highly. Patty melt was also very good... French fries delicious. also had the poppers were really good. was bummed out they didn't have the pretzel bites with cheese.Allie and Janelle were the bartenders very nice excellent service. This is definitely a place you have to check out.
