40 years ago today we had our wedding reception there which at the time was known as Chappies. We decided to go back there to... celebrate our anniversary with our family. They were so accommodating and actually had our table situated where the originalhead table was! The food was awesome, everyone had something different and their meals were delicious. Great tasting food with lots of flavor. The corn fritters appetizer was awesome! I had the bone in ribeye that was done to... perfection. My husband the jambalaya and said it had tons of flavor and tasted great. Our server was Lexi and she did a greatjob of getting our drinks out to us quickly and was checking in with us at multiple times to see how we liked the food and ifthere was anything else she could get us. We visited the Edgewater on July 23, 2018 for our wedding anniversary. The food was awesome. I had the trout and my husband had... the duck. Great portions. My trout came with green beans. We sat on the patio. It was perfect. I did feel the price was alittle high but the food was worth it. Definitely would go again to the Edgewater. The server was very kind and attentive.
