My family has been going to Baris since it opened in 1997 when we lived in Pflugerville. My youngest son turned 21 and... requested Baris for his birthday last night. We haven't been for a few years as we moved about 30 minutes away. It was so muchfun visiting an old fave. Food quality is amazing, the menu hasn't changed and we were delighted to see the daughter that wasbussing tables as a kid is now running the restaurant. Such a local gem. I ate from here for the first time today and the food was amazing! I will eat here again. I love that they have specials for... every day of the week. Only thing I would change is more than 1 tomato in the salad. The tomato base dressing was GREAT! We didnot get any of the famous bread that I was told about with our order so we will order lunch Friday. I cant wait to try thatspecial of cheese ravioli. My coworker wants the spaghetti. Read more
Ordered the kids fettuccine alfredo for my daughter and she wanted to sprinkle some parm cheese on it. Well the container lid... wasn't on correctly so it all came out on her food. We tried to get most of it out and let the waiter know what happened andjust asked for some extra alfredo sauce. He brings out a bowl of sauce which was kind of too much for the size of dish or foodshe had. Later brings us the ticket that shows I was charged $4.95 for that literal bowl of sauce that I wasn't informed I wasgoing to be charged for. When I paid at the register I asked about it and the other waitress stated he should've told me beforecharging me for it what the price was going to be and he just apologized. Okay food, okay service. Overall it was a new place to try and was simple. The service was a little chaotic. We were sat at an... unprepared table. Our waiter would leave for a while. I did not get the drink I asked for. Food was okay, cooked well but othermembers food was not warm. The restraint was clean and was low key chill. Perfect laid-back Italian food at a great price! Brianna and the rest of the staff were so friendly and accommodating - even tho... they were in the middle of their dinner rush they took their time to make sure we were satisfied with everything we ordered.This is also a family owned restaurant, supporting local business is a must if you live in the area! First time customer today, the pepperoni pizza is pretty good and different than most places. Customer service was excellent. A... beautiful young Lady took care of me and really made the impression. She gave me a complimentary tea while I waited for my carryout. I recommend this place mostly, because of the treatment I received. Read more
