We knew when we saw smoke rolling up from behind the fence that this place would be good. The sauces were tangy and the pork was... decadent. The ribs, wow, juicy and hearty. First time here. Had popcorn shrimp, 1/2 slab of ribs, Mac n cheese, potato salad. Mustard like barbecue sauce is pretty good... just a bit more thin/watery then I'm used to but still good! I'm not a fan of dry ribs but these were good. Potato salad mustardbase as well and delicious. Read more
Known about the place for a long time since I had started dating my wife in 2011. Would usually grab two slabs of ribs from... there before we headed back up to Atlanta. Food has always been good. The ribs are on point along with the collard greens,cabbage, and mac & cheese. Read more
If you want great soul food & even better service this is the place for you! The ribs fall off of the bone. The sauce is just... enough sweet with a bit of tangy.
