The only good thing is the view. This is located in a shady creepy dilapidated area of phily that you should never go to. The... place is an old building with addicts and peddlers hanging around . There?s one rickety service elevator and the place has aterrible vibe. Bok bar itself is overpriced - $7 for one can of beer !!! I wanted to take a star off because of the very "pop-up bar" feel of this place. It's so cool and the view is so amazing, but... you get the feel it's not permanent and you get the feel you couldn't sit here and get a full meal with your drinks. There'sfood but I think the menu rotates and it has a very cafeteria feel to it. You could have a nice couple cocktails with friends,but you should probably go somewhere else for dinner. BUT it's called Bok Bar, not Bok Restaurant, so don't come expecting morethan a few cocktails and an amazing view, and you'll be fine. The historic building part is really cool too. Don't get me wrong,I wish I could take a star off for the cramming into the one, very slow elevator to get up there, but, you're in an historicbuilding. Enjoy the atmosphere and the view, grab a few cocktails with friends, loosen up. The drinks come in plastic cups andmost people go there for the selfies, let it be what it is. Read more
Great view and ambience! Appetizers were okayish. The garlic fries were good, disappointing wings and drinks.
Beautiful view of the city! It?s in an old school building, so just entering the space is a cool experience. Had some nice... cocktails. Prices are bit high for Philly, but the views make it worth it. Great when you have friends visiting the city. Read more
Very neat place. I appreciated how much of the building?s (seemingly) original interior elements have been preserved - it was... like stepping into a time capsule. The folks working the bar that particular night were very kind also. Read more
This place is awesome. I always bring out of town guests here if they've never visited the city before. Located on the top of an... old school, this rooftop bar gives you perfect city skyline views and a great place for a sunset. Pretty good beer selection aswell! Read more
Truly an amazing spot on Philly with a great view of the Philly skyline. Bok Bar is located on the roof of an old school in... Philly. With a wide open deck and a great view it's a fantastic place to hang out in good weather. The only reason it gets 4stars instead of 5 is that the beer and cocktail list is a bit limited. It seems they trade on their located more than what theyserve. Still a really cool place though! Read more
This place is beautiful and breathtaking (the view and set up) I would give it more stars if they would improve their food and... drink list. I asked if the chicken sandwich was breast, was told yes but received our food and bit into a very dark gristlefilled thigh!! It was stomach turning. Also 15$ for 4 small shrimp!!!! Yup, you read that right 15$ for 4 tiny shrimp!! We defwill be back after eating somewhere else first next time.. Read more
