We came on a rainy day in search of something yummy and warm and we were not disappointed! This place is warm and cozy (such... good music too), the waitresses were attentive and friendly, and the food was so good. The kimchi and pork soondubu was just theright amount of spicy and acidic, the spicy pork with cheese had a delicious marinade, and the grape and pear punches were nottoo sweet and very natural tasting. I’d definitely come here again to try their other dishes. Read more

I came here with my boyfriend a few days ago and was blown away by the food. It was my very first time having Korean food and... the spicy pork buns were amazing. 10/10 service, the waitress was super nice and I will certainly come back the next time I'm inPhiladelphia! Read more

Stumbled upon Buk Chon while searching for the best dinner in Old City Philadelphia. They did not disappoint. The menus are very... descriptive with a picture of each dish and the level of heat to expect. We ordered two iced green teas: one mango and onehibiscus jamaica. Both were very good; the mango was sweet and the hibiscus jamaica was more light and refreshing. We startedwith an order of Spicy Pork Buns (two are served) and ordered a Rib Eye Bulgogi and Spicy Pork Bowl for entrees, both servedwith rice. The rib eye was extremely flavorful and tender while the pork bowl had a good level of spicy. Highly recommended forgood authentic Korean cuisine. The staff is very friendly and made sure to thank everyone as they were leaving. Read more

This place is absolutely amazing! I came here with my husband on a whim and did not regret it. It’s a small, cozy restaurant... with a relaxed ambience, and the food was divine. We started with the sweet chili Korean fried chicken, which was perfectlyspicy and crunchy. I got the spicy pork bowl and it was so warm and filling. Definitely give this place a try if you want abreak from the chaos of Philly and delicious food! Read more

My partner and I decided to try a new restaurant tonight and she chose Buk Chon. Great decision. The restaurant is modern, cozy,... and has a very chill ambience. Great service. We tried the Korean fried chicken, bibimbap w/shrimp , spicy pork bowl, andhibiscus tea. Everything was fresh and delicious. The spice of the pork bowl was perfect. This was for sure some of the bestfood I’ve had since I’ve lived in Philly. Read more

I found this place on accident. Original place looking to eat I couldn't find. I decided to try the food here and happy I did.... This restaurant smells so good. It's very clean and the server was really sweet. I told her it was my first time there. Shehelped recommend the bibimbap. It was amazing. I did also order that scallion pancakes to go. They obviously care about thequality of food putting out. Will be going back. Read more
