When I was probably about 12 years old, I took a field trip to Philly from Maryland. Towards the end, our teachers took us to a... cheesesteak shop and got us food before we drove back. 7 or 8 years later, I moved to PA, just outside of Philly. I walkeddowntown and saw this place again, and recognized it instantly. Since then, I've only ever gone to Campo's if I want a steak inPhilly. This place is fantastic. The food is delicious and "tailored" to the individual, the selection of drinks and sides isgood, the prices are fair, and again, the food is delicious! The staff have always been nice and friendly, and they dogenuinely care about their food and their customers. I always order the same thing here and it's never been anything short ofperfect. I've even taken a couple of friends here to introduce them to "the proper cheesesteak". Skip the tourist lines andharsh tone of Pat's and Geno's, just go here. It's so much better than the spots everyone tells you to go to. Paid $23 for asteak with marinara and mayo and a Yards Pale Ale, sat inside, and had a wonderful time. Can't wait to come back. My boyfriend loved the gluten free philly cheese steak and him and I both think the gluten free cookie was a m a z i n g ! I... wasnt a big fan of my cheese steak nor my cookies. But i think because of the atmosphere and how nice everyone was id give itanother shot and I know m y boyfriend would go a million times. The woman at the cash register was amazingly kind and helpful, gave off owner vibes,,, but im not confident at all in that statement lol. Lots of beer options even knew which ones were glutenfree! (: i thought it'd be important to mention the woman who ordered before us was super happy about the vegan options. Read more

I had the Philly cheese steak with the works. It was delicious I also had a side of coleslaw and a local beer. The coleslaw was... also great. It was fresh and crisp. My theory is that the key to good Philly cheese steak is the heat. My sandwich was made toorder piping hot and then wrapped quickly in a a paper. I had to wait before I bit into it. Ingredients are pretty commonamongst Philly cheesesteak places so I think it's the heat. I've included pictures here. The service was friendly and fast. Theonly improvement I would say is that it could be better air conditioned and the tables are way too close to eachother. Overall, a good experience and I would come back. Please note that in my assessment I am grading on a full 5-star scaleand do so with an implicit price-value curve. I am aware that many others on social media may grade on a 3-point (4 being anaverage score) or 2-point scale (4 being a poor score), but the fact remains that Google gives us a 5-point scale. To me, 4stars is great, 3 stars is average and 5 stars should be rare - reserved for true excellence or near perfection. Read more

This place came HIGHLY recommended from our Segway Tour Guide, so we walked over immediately after our Segway Tour! I was happy... to see that 4 out of the 7 riders on our tour had also decided to eat here as well! Definitely lived up to it's reputation!!Hubby & I enjoyed our Philly Cheesesteak Sandwiches - - - one with Whiz & the other with Provolone. Both were FABULOUS!!! Prettyhigh prices for sandwiches, but damn, they are so delicious!! Read more

The man behind the counter was super nice, the cashier was a little short with some people behind us butit was crazy busy in there so ??????? price wise...I don't have anything to compare it to do I don't know if it's in line withother places but we paid $90 for 5 subs and a few drinks. With so many cheesesteaks in Philadelphia, I chose this one because they have gluten-free bun. All the employees were very... friendly. My sandwich took some time to get ready, but probably because the place was a little crowded. It was my firstcheesesteak ever and I thought it was good. Read more

My wife and I were greeted as soon as we walked in. The steak and cheese cost us around $11, which seems to be the average price... and waited for only 5-10 minutes even though it was a little crowded. Everything about the cheesesteak turned out great, fromthe large portion of steak, to the soft bread. We will definitely come back when we visit Philly again! Read more
