Half and full size Philly cheesesteaks (or chicken) with choice of toppings like hot peppers, pickles, mushrooms and onions.... Popular lunch spot, customized orders, and playing cards passed out instead of order numbers. My mushroom onion full size withsteak was hot, savory, and filling. Read more

In total, I waited 90 minutes to put my order in and then get the food. It wasn't worth that long of a wait but 45 minutes would... have been a wonderful time. I like my cheese steaks with a good amount of bread, lots of onions and a gooey inside. I orderedtwo sandwiches, one with American and one with provolone. The meat was dry on the sandwiches and there weren't many onions, butthe American cheese was a real highlight for me. The sandwiches were solid, but not something you should wait over an hour for. First time trying their cheese steaks and it was delicious! Line at 1030 AM on a Sunday was short! We came Friday & line was so... long that we didn?t want to wait especially w/ kids. If you want one, come catch it in the morning right when they open. Worthit! :-) Read more

Waited forever as expected and ordered a vegetarian cheesesteak and then even though it was listed on the menu above and online... that it comes with peppers I was charged extra $1.75 for them. Why? It is already more expensive Thant the real one. So with tipI paid $18+ for a $13.50 sandwich that was completely skimpy, bland, literally no seasoning and sucked. If you are going to haveit in the menu make it good, season it and don?t charge people extra for what it said it comes with. I honestly got robbed. Iwant a decent sandwich or my my money back Read more

Delicious food and good value. $20 for a half sandwich and fries. The fries were fresh and everything tasted good. Greasy and... delicious. I got a half sandwich with provolone, onions, mushrooms, lettuce and pickles on the side. Carmen's is located insideof Reading Market and it was a cool experience. There's many shops and eateries in the market. I was able to get some freshjuice and loose leaf tea while there. Read more

A must-visit on 12th street in Reading Terminal Market. Be prepared though to be in a line, but it moves rather quickly with the... hardworking employees. The playing cards they give to customers waiting for their order is an interesting touch. In terms ofneatness, the Reading Terminal Market in general may need to clean up, especially the ceiling area. Read more

I was underwhelmed to say the least. The sandwich not hoagie had flavor but no substance for the almost $14 that I paid. I had... to fish for my lettuce? the guy didn?t get all the ingredients right. He needs to spend less time on pleasantries and listen tothe customer. Thank goodness I was standing there else no mayo as requested. If you want a light weight sandwich try them elselook elsewhere. Btw- my first time trying them. Read more

Carmen?s used to be good. Establishment needs help. Employee at the front says ?OUR BOSS IS STINGY WITH THE SEASONING?. Why pay... extra for seasoned fries and receive this. Doesn?t make sense. Multiple options for cheesesteaks around the area. Avoid the lineand disappointment. Read more
