There is an awesome staff/manager who's working by herself cooking cleaning and taking orders with a smile on her face. She... deserves a raise or a monthly bonus for being the only person keeping that place open. If your not giving her a bonus or a payraise you should be ashamed of yourself. The next time I go I will ask her what she makes an hour and if it's below $15/hr. Iwill offer her a position at my company. Read more
No ff at only 1am and for a place that normally operates til 4 am I expect better. Sloppy burgers and the employees look very... unhappy and uncomfortable. That makes it worse, when will companies understand that their employees carry the business and ifthey are happy the service they provide will reflect that. Read more
First of all the drive through is always extra slow. The last time I went was it for me. There were all of these huge... cockroaches outside next to speaker where you oder in the drive -thru. The sight of them turned my stomach so bad that I didn'teven order and because they are so slow I had to sit there (3rd in line for like 20 mins). I cant say that they were inside butin my opinion there is no way there were that close to a restaurant and not enter. Needless to say, I just drove past the windowbecause of course, I didn't order. Service was absolutely horrible! The food was just warm not fresh and when we told them it was warm almost cold she just threw... it back in the fryer the fries just taste over cooked now also the sandwich was made wrong and the milkshake is just thick icecream in a cup can't even drink it until it melts. They were also very slow long line and some employees were having outsideconversations when they are backed up. Need better training! Read more
So as many know I review many places and by far the experience and childish behavior and act of revenge could end you as the... individuals who were working today and checkers as a corporations all could be held liable and names in a law suits for pettyprank of putty extra extra extra pepper in cold checker burgers with cheese as anyone with eyes can see and because I correctedyou on the facts that KOOL AID is by no means all natural it has artificial dyes and you told me it did not which I told you ithad red 4o blue 1 yellow 5 yellow 6 and I can go on and you want to know why as I told you I have grandchild who has allergiesto artificial dyes to the point he can't use certain shampoo or laundry soap so that strawberry smoothie we also ordered iquickly took it away when I realized what he was saying about the burger being hot he didn't mean hot as in :: ouch " he meantas in spicy I can't eat it and this coming from a kid who eats hot peppers....well done checkers immature children working today.. When Checkers 1st came to be and popping up all over Philly, the popular chain was bustling with customers and business. Now,... there are only 2 of them left. Some of their restaurants were nice and clean. Over the years, those restaurants have becomenasty and deplorable. The workers as well, were ghetto and unpleasant and unprofessional. I used to go to the Checkers on 49thand Lancaster Avenue, for breakfast, lunch, and or for dinner. Their fries were pretty scrumptious, at one time. I think sinceLaVann Hawkins left, everything went shot to you know what. Some of their burgers were pretty good, too. The Big Buford wasfamous. Later in the years, they started adding other items such as, chicken wings and l think boneless wings. I guess CoVidstarted and then most of the Checkers restaurants followed suit and begin closing down. Who knows why there are only 2 storesleft in Philadelphia. Only GOD knows that answer. I hope those 2 places don't shut down. It'll be as they never existed. BurgerKing might be next, pray not. I enjoy their impossible whopper. Read more
