Reviews for Chinatown Beer Garden in Philadelphia, PA

We waited over 2 1/2 hours for food that never came. The waiter would only come by every half an hour (at most) and kept saying... "it'll be ready in 5 minutes" each time which honestly made it worse when food ultimately never showed. We asked for a refundand they still charged us for an appetizer we never got. So I asked for an entire refund (drinks included) for having to sit foralmost 3 hours and got attitude for even asking?? So we still had to pay for our drinks (we also had to keep adding money to ourparking meter...). This is more of a bar for people to like watch games, than to chill outdoors and eat and drink. I also don'tthink it's technically a "beer garden" because they don't have any beer on tap. The actual indoor part attached is underconstruction and the bathrooms were vile. Read more

I wish I got my servers name but he was very attentive and helpful when another female employee could barely leave her... conversation to show me properly where the bathroom was seeing as it’s inside a building they’re remodeling. He gets a 10/10for service and I will be coming back again the wings were delicious ???????? Read more

Awesome place with good beer, good spirits, Cornhole, beer pong, Jenga, cards, and a great environment. Service was a bit slow,... but it wasn't a big deal. Read more

A beer garden without beer on tap? Seriously? Only one true IPA but that was Lagunitas at $8 a bottle. Food was mediocre. ... Service was friendly but we had to find our own napkins. Canned music was loud and annoying. Live music was good. Watch thetotal as they automatically add a 20% tip so don’t add to that unless you want to. We won’t go back. Read more

The people leaving these reviews are cheap and uncultured. Very cute spot - Dj booth and happy hour 4-7 on weekends! exactly... what Chinatown needs. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Read more

Cool outdoor spot in Chinatown to get a get a drink, that attracts a hip crowd. Service is great, but the food and drink is... overpriced for what you get. They don't have any taps here, so all the beer is bottles/cans. Read more
