Order is always done pretty quickly, only thing was my Buffalo wings were a little dry, but they fixed that issue.
I recently placed an order for delivery and was told that I could expect it between 45 mins to an hour. After an hour and 20... minutes I called about the arrival of my delivery but after being on hold for 5 minutes the young woman on the phone took 15minutes to tell me that she made a mistake and while I was charged for the order the cooks never received my order. Afterrepeating my self several times I was told that my order would be delivered when the driver returned to the restaurant and shedid apologize. When I asked that I be called when the driver picked up my order, she became offended and told me that I wasdisrespectful because she had made a mistake. I told her that I wasn't disrespectful and that if she was earnest she would havewritten down everything I told her so I wouldn't have to repeat my phone number 3 times during my call. Unfortunately this isthe first time I've had my Delivery be this late but not the first time I've had problems with the person taking the orders overthe phone. I've been getting food from Classic Sub since 1976. My order finally arrived 2hrs and 45mins after I originallyplaced it, the pizza was good as usual and the Roast Beef hoagie was quite tasty but instead of Onion Rings I was given CurlyFries and I was okay with it. I purchased a hot wing platter with fries. Extremely dry, no flavor, no sauce, hot wing and fries were still white under... cooked. So i returned 99% of the platter. Horrible. The owner refused to give me a refund. I'm contacting License andInspection tomorrow. They have to be reported. Read more
This place has really gone down hill fast. They open & close when they feel like it. The quality of food is less than adequate.... They give you less food and have increased their prices. Normally, the food is good. Saturday my daughter said the cheese steak meat tasted strange. Yesterday, ordered mozzarella fries... (2), chicken cheese steak and other things. Delivered without the fries. When fries later delivered the cheese was notmozzarella and the normally delicious fries were terrible. The extra instructions were disregarded. Something has changed. Iwill not order again. This is sad because we order frequently. Read more
I placed an order on Christmas Eve. My mushroom cheese steak was really good. The cheese pizza was nice hot and gooey. Best of... all, my order was delivered very quickly. I’ve been ordering from Classic for several years. My favorite place for good food.Keep up the good work guys! Read more
Classic Sub Shop has a great variety of hoagies and fresh salads to accommodate any of their meals or platters. Other specials... that are freshly made include my favorite roast beef sandwich that includes three side orders. New Panini sandwiches have becomethe Mt Airy dine-in favorite; I prefer the mozzarella fresca Panini. I have enjoyed many of their Stromboli, my favorite is thesteak Stromboli, but as of lately – I have grown to love their classic special. Every dish is seasoned just right, with theproper amount of salt, not overwhelming, especially those individuals monitoring their sodium intake. Lunch specials arereasonably prices, and take-out offers a great menu for busy professionals. The everyday specials I particularly love – forthe economic value and the affordability – to feed a large group of family, friends, and business associates. Pros: Supergreat sandwich and hoagie selection, and tasty Italian pasta dishes. Dining area has adequate and appropriate seating fordine-in.
