It took me a long time to go to this place because it does look kind of divey from the outside, but it has one of the best lunch... specials in the area and surprisingly good quality sushi (don't judge a book by its cover). The staff have always been verynice, one time there was a mix-up with our check and they were apologetic and fixed it right away. We usually go with a group of4-8 people and they handle the orders relatively well, sometimes taking longer than other times but i understand it takes awhile to time all of the sushi/apps and it gets crowded too. I will still continue to visit once in awhile for lunch. Read more

This place is extremely rude ! I went on my lunch break and ate and I didn’t tip since my order was so small and was there for... a good 10 minutes and the waiter told me to get “a To go order next time since I didn’t wanna tip” super rude ! And thesoup and sushi was nasty. Also gave me my bill before I even asked for it , as if to rush me out of the place Read more

This place is a hidden gem… We ordered four rolls of sushi and you have to get the shrimp pad Thai as it is amazing… Would... highly recommend the service is fantastic everything comes out promptly and most importantly the sushi was very very fresh Read more

I have eaten here a handful of times over the years. It has always been a good sushi option for me in the city. Grabbed takeout... from there for the first time a week or so ago, and the rolls were just as good as if I was eating there. If you are lookingfor an affordable, decent sushi option in Center City, suggest giving them a try. Read more

Delicious! The vegetable tempura and the sweet potato rolls are my favorite. My son loved the chicken fried rice and the shumai.... The mango roll was good. Great customer service. I knocked off one star because me and my husband had stomach pains for a fewdays afterwards. Might be incidental and if it doesn’t recur after trying this place again, then I’ll update the review to 5stars! Read more

A friend recommended me this place. Apart from good “presentation” everyone seems to talk about the food is bad to mediocre... at best. Fish served as nigiri and sashimi didn’t taste or feel very fresh - particularly the tuna which had almost purplecolor that made me wonder if they added food coloring (maybe it could be the lighting?), the fish roe on the rolls clearlycontained (obviously more food coloring) some flavoring that is not like soy sauce or other asian flavors - tasted kind of likecheap grape flavor enhancers. The rolls seemed to contain some kind of fish and breadcrumbs to increase the volume to avoidusing more fish. My friend and I were both very disappointed with the food. Not only because of the food but also because thefact that the pricing of $70+ did not reflect the quality - not remotely close. Read more
