What an amazing experience!! I've been before when I was younger but going as an adult was amazing. I was so hesitant to come... because of the crowds and it being so busy but it was well worth the wait. They have a great system set in place and the staffis amazing!!! They definitely run a tight ship and it shows because the lines were moving. I honestly am a Philly native and ampractically a cheesesteak myself but I wanted to get the experience of Dalessandro's. I met local people and tourist. Everyonehad a story and it was so beautiful just to witness people from all walks of life bonding....over their love of food made itamazing. Delicious cheesesteaks that have so much meat compared to other cheesesteak establishments I?ve been to. There is a wait which... is about 15-20 minutes which is well worth it. They have outdoor seating if you can?t wait to tear down this yummy sandwich. Read more
Really good cheesesteaks. Do yourself a favor and call ahead. First line is to place order and second line is to pickup. Place... it 20 minutes before you're here and skip the line. Cash only. Good sandwich although the meat lacked salt and tasted kindawatery but the bread was incredible and made up for it. Recommend. Read more
I would give this place 5 stars for multiple reasons. Even with the long lines your order is prepared and ready within 10 to 15... minutes. We had two alcoholic beverages, two waters, and two cheese steaks which was only $44. That's a pretty solid price forthe size of the meal. The cheese steaks were tender and the sweet peppers and provolone (whatever cheese you like) is a must tobind the ingredients. The bread was slightly soggy but that was just because the meat was so juicy! The sub roll or whatever yourefer to it It in Philly was super fluffy and complimented the rest. Will go again for sure! There is definitely reason for all the hype and it will certainly is real. I might be biased because this is my first Philly... cheese steak but dang it was absolutely delicious. Came here after a tip from a local. The cheese steaks taste great. There?s no room inside but a few tables outside. You have to... get your order yourself and find a place to sit. It?s mostly a take away restaurant actually. I would definitely go there againif I visit Philadelphia. Read more
Fantastic Philly Cheesesteaks! The roll is packed full of steak! Plan ahead as this place gets busy. You could be waiting up to... 30 minutes for your sandwich so I would recommend calling ahead. Once you arrive wait on the sidewalk and listen for your nameand watch for your name on the screen. They will also text you to get in line when your order is ready.
