I can't believe that I have slept on this Ristorante. Italian is my favorite cuisine and D'Angelo's did not disappoint at all. I... was celebrating my birthday, and was sweetly serenaded by a handsome gentleman, in English and Italian. The food, fromappetizers to dessert we're delicious. I will definitely return!! Read more

First time we’ve eaten here. All the food was spectacular. One of the best veal marsalas ever. Desserts were also epic.

They were able to handle a party of 25 like expert craftsmans. The food is incredible. The service is impeccable. The owner is... a gentleman. The bartender, Mr. not Gus ???????? was personable and knowledgeable. I could not say enough about this place.Being an Italian American myself I am very picky about my food but I was more than pleased in the quality of the appetizers, theentrees, and the incredible desserts. Fresh pasta. Great steaks. Wonderful sauces. An incredible variety. And I cannot sayenough about that impeccable service for such a large group. Everything was served at perfect timing. Everything was hot andfresh. And the place was waiting for us upon arrival. You want authentic Southern Italian cuisine. You want fair prices. Youwant incredible service. You want fresh dishes. You want personality. Then this is your place. Un'esperienza incredibile cherimarrà nella mia mente per sempre. BRAVO! Read more

Wonderful food and Sal (baby) approved of it. The grapes hanging above are also to die for. Thanks to the servers who saw our... enthusiasm for them and delivered a bowl to our little one. Read more

Not bad, but not amazing. It is incredibly popular and incredibly busy. The spaghetti and meatballs, which won a best of Philly... award, was good, but again not as good as the award might suggest. Because the restaurant was so busy, the service was okay. Ithink that there are a lot of people who love this place because it was packed. Maybe a case of different strokes for differentfolks. Very nice Italian restaurant in an urban setting. I went there to attend a family reunion dinner. We had a reservation for 38... people. We were seated promptly, and enough servers were assigned to our party. Our service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The servers were attentive enough so that we never felt neglected, but they were not overly obtrusive. The kitchen staff musthave been equally well organized because our orders were delivered in a timely way. The portions were generous but notexcessive, and everyone praised the taste of their meal. I had a D'Angelo signature salad. It was excellent. They didn't haveeggplant parmesan on the menu, but that's what I wanted, and they made it for me. It was outstanding. The prices werereasonable, and the decor was very nice. The only reason I gave four stars instead of five was that parking is very difficult inthat neighborhood, I needed to park three blocks away, and most of the seating is on the second or third floor, and they don'thave an elevator. If you are in the neighborhood already and you don't mind walking up one or two flights of stairs, then Ihighly recommend D'Angelo's. Read more
