Found this place while searching for a better Mexican spot with authentic taste. This place is IT! As soon as you walk in... you're greeted by smells of amazing food being prepared and the beautiful art on the seats, tables and walls. We all left theresatisfied taste wise and stuffed. We ordered Birria tacos and the birria platter, my husband had the jefe especial. This placeis byob. I was a bit sad about that at first because I really wanted a margarita; however I did bring my own bottle andpurchased a pitcher of the mix to add in. I would Highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good eats, that'saffordable. They are Very family friendly which is a big plus for those of us with kids. Definitely plan to go back! Update:I've been back here multiple times since my first visit 4 months ago and I must say I'm a bit disappointed. The birria tacoswere once my favorite, but since then they now lack flavor. Last night I ordered Carne Asada in the description it says seasonedrib eye steak. The steak was Not seasoned at all, not even with salt and pepper in my opinion two thin pieces of rib eye isn'ta good choice of meat for Carne Asada especially since the dish cost $22. The portions on rice and beans for the dish were supersmall considering the price, the rice had a burnt smell and taste as well. I feel like someone should take the time toreevaluate the prices, portion sizes as well as the recipes and flavors so there's more consistency. As someone that has almost20 years in the food industry I have a strong love for food so I know consistency is key to success. Read more

Excellent!! My husband and I finally brought our own tequila and had awesome Margaritas with El Azteca's mixers. We also tried... several different items based on other's reviews. The Queso Cangrejo (cheesy crab dip) was out of this world; tasty with lots ofcrab and a nice spice. My husband now has a new favorite - - Mexican Fries!! They are really, really delicious. We also enjoyedGrilled Shrimp Tacos and Carnitas. The Carnitas are so tender and tasty.... always a favorite. For dessert..... another pitcherof Margaritas! ???? The staff was spot on; attentive, friendly and informative! Read more

I've been meaning to check this restaurant for the longest and I finally got there. The funny thing is, this restaurant is... literally about 6 blocks from my home. As soon as we got there, we were welcomed and seated. Our server was very attentive andknowledgeable. The food was great too. It was so good, I decided to order some takeout for my boys. I will definitely go backonce they get their liquor license. Read more

My sister and I came in for the first time this afternoon and had an AWESOME meal! The waitress bought out salsa and warm chips,... we started out with the Queso Cangrejo, then our main courses were Fajitas Texanas and Platillo Jalisco both with steak andshrimp, and rice, refried beans, pico de Gallo, guacamole, peppers, onions , tomatoes and mushrooms with Jalisco plate . Theyalso serve Jarritos soda from Mexico made with real sugar . Muchos gracias, todo estuvo delicioso !! They are waiting on theliquor license, it is BYOB for now. ???????????? Read more
