Fish sandwich is certainly on point. I had one drink there but I didn't love it but it may have been that particular drink.... Overall u can't beat the ambiance, tastiness, and friendliness. Oh and I love the boat across the street. Dope spot! Read more
The gatehouse has always been sort of a go to when you’re down in the shipyard area. Menus got some unique things on it but... always a killer hamburger for me. I like the beer selection. Staff is always very nice. And when it’s not super hot outsidethe outside seating is a lot of fun. Found this place when I was staying by the airport and didn’t want to hit downtown for dinner. When I asked the front desk for... recommendations they said maggianos so I figured there wasn’t much around. Gatehouse exceeded all expectations for a quickmeal. It is in the navy yard so you have a great view of the harbor and boats sitting out front. They had live music onWednesday night and a full drink list. Awe Staff went there with a friend and my service animal after our flight was rescheduled by United. Every one was friendly and... had a dog water dish for her and poured her a drink from a chilled glass! Needless to say I am Impresssed I have never seen abusiness that outright pet friendly. The food may not have been the cheapest but it was worth every penny. We got the friedBrussels with whipped feta, it had a wonderful friend food flavor we all love with a slightly nutty and lemon pizzaz to theflavor that when polymorphed with the whipped feta was a perfect start to out meal. We had Thierry "Frose" drink and Pina Coladaboth were perfectly blended and mixed bit if Either one of us were a multiple drink person we both would have to choose to gowith the "Frose" for best flavor and most enjoyable on a hot and humid day. My Friend had the Salmon with Spinach and Tomatoesand I ordered the brazed pork shoulder. We both split them and starting in order the Salmon was the perfect blend of moist andflaky and the bed of sauce it was on was a beautiful ????! Now my favorite of all of the dishes was the Brased Pork shoulder AyeDios Mio! I touched it with my fork and it just never seen meet that tender and flavorful. With or without the based sauce ontop was amazing. And the sauce bed for this dish was again perfectly wonderful and all that could be asked for but I will behonest totally unessisary as I felt it neither was equally good with or without it and think I would have preferred the dishwithout it and more pork lol but this is a preference things, I love brazed meat. Solid spot and great outdoor spot. Clearly this is a “off the beaten path” for stadium goers as well. The spicy tuna nachos... were clutch - edamame, jalapeños, tuna, and spicy mayo (these are more a “dry” nacho. They could have used more spicy mayobut overall good.) The jerk shrimp starter was good as well with mango, red peppers and five shrimp. The old bay fries were adecent portion and great to share. Our only complaint was the drinks were under poured. They should have been finished offhigher for the price. Otherwise great spot! Read more
We were a group of seven. Service was very attentive. Food was tasty. We enjoyed the buffalo cauliflower and spicy tuna nachos.... We also ordered the kielbasa reuben and burgers, all delicious. Dessert... the churros were awesome... fresh, hot and crispy. Read more

I had to give it one because there were no options for 0. Lightly toasted (or stale??) bread for chicken salad... sandwich Wilted/brown greens on sandwich Literally 4 pieces of cauliflower on the sandwich which was consumed by the roll andthe greens weren’t wilted and brown. Seasoning? What’s that? Do they know?? I don’t think I’ve ever been so compelled towrite a review for such a disappointing take home meal. Did I mention the fried Brussels were basically the same color as thecarry home container. Not fun on all level. We tried it. Failed. Saddest days. Read more
