The only weird part of the experience I can say is that the host just looked like a regular guy and didn't indicate that he was... there to seat us. Just stared at us for a full 10 seconds and impatiently gestured that we say something. Place was POPPIN, andthey embrace BYOB. My favorite part was the vegetarian and gluten-free options. There was a FULLY gluten-free menu on the backso there was no stress ordering. The server and busser were really nice, helpful, and attentive. The prosciutto platter wasdelicious, the gluten-free pesto pizza was incredible, and the grilled sweet sausage really hit the spot! This a QUALITYItalian spot with fairly reasonable prices. Very pleasant, cozy, and authentic feeling restaurant. It's old school. Good crusted bread, wonderful fresh prosciutto... appetizer, and amazing red sauce entrees followed up by fantastic chocolate cake for dessert. Will be back! Read more

I honestly have nothing but praises for our dinner here. Everything we ate was delicious. We love a good byob, and you can?t... beat the prices for this quality of food. We had the buratta and calamari appetizers, the pork chop (amazing), stuffed chickenand chicken a la Valentina, and cannoli, cheesecake and tiramisu for dessert. I would order any of those dishes again. (Had thegnocchi before and loved that too). I highly recommend for a date night or small group. Yes it?s small, a little noisy, neitherwas a problem. Ughhh I just can't rave enough, the question is what do I not have to say?? Nothing negative that's for sure. First and foremost... no matter how god or bad the food if the customer service isn't good then nothing else matters. Gorgio excelled at both,phenomenal. People walked around, spoke to us, checked up on us, they were patient in telling us about the food and thespecials, which I appreciated. The appetizers were phenomenal and the entrees even better. The only thing is that the place isvery, very small. For me it wasn't such a big deal but if you aren't a fan of that open concept or being able to see each andevery table so close then I would keep that in mind the quality of the food soon had me forgetting these minor details. We verymuch enjoyed the grilled salad(I was skeptical at first, all I could hear was Gordon Ramsay's voice) and the amazing burratacheese with olive oil, balsamic vinegar and tomatoes. The parmesan crusted pork chop was so tender and juicy it melted in mymouth and they paired it PERFECTLY with well seasoned potatoes and spinach. I still drool thinking about it. My friend loved thegluten free parmesan crusted chicken and pasta as well as the GF bread options. Of course I made room for dessert with thephenomenal and delicious cannoli ,no matter how full you always make room for a good cannoli!! And let me tell you .. thatpaired with the amazing cappuccino they made for me (talented I say, talented!!) it ended the night on a fabulous note that leftme smiling and giving my thanks. Gorgio on pine is doing everything right and I hope this continues, tasting what I did thatnight, I have no doubt I'll be back!!. This place is like going to your Italian grandparents for dinner. The service and food are outstanding. Prices are affordable... and its byob wine. Highly recommend coming here. Get a reservation. They?re always packed. Read more
