I can?t write anything good about Goldie?s that hasn?t already been written, but it?s worth repeating. This vegan Israeli fusion... spot does a few things, but does those few thing very well. The tehina shakes are unexpectedly delicious and refreshing, (getthe mint, you?ll be on a high for hours), the falafel is some of the best you are going to find outside of Israel. Try all theirsauces, from the spicy schug tehina, to the balanced Amba tehina, which is a pickled mango sauce with spices and tehina. Youreally can?t go wrong. I am not a big fan of falafel but when whenever i pass by Goldie i cannot resist not getting their falafel salad. Their fries is... also one of my favorites. The shawarma fries have a little too much spices so if you have a sensitive stomach opt for the plainone. Read more
Finally! Goldie?s triumphant return to Whole Foods - so appreciated! The falafels are just as delicious as ever, the fries are... perfect, and the tahini shakes are an unexpected victory. The tehina milkshake is AMAZING. We had the mint chip flavor which tasted like a non-vegan milkshake. The shawarma spiced fried... were crisp and flavorful. Falafel was super tasty with a great salad - hope you can all add whole wheat pita as an option soon! Read more
I don't see what all the fuss is about. Tiny portions and I mean tiny, and poorly fried. Each falafel ball is less than one... inch diameter. Two orders in one bag and the fries! one is cold, the other hot. How? Every food truck is better than this. Read more
