Came here to read a book and chat with a friend on a Sunday afternoon and there was ample seating and friendly staff. I enjoyed... my hot chocolate a lot, the quality was much better than a lot of others I've had and I've had quite a few. Definitely tastedmore like chocolate than powder. Read more
Apple cider with caramel took forever to make and didn't taste like anything but sugar. One of the baristas was coughing, not... wearing a mask and not even covering her mouth. I saw her cough open-mouthed onto surfaces and the coffee machine. Read more
My husband who was wearing his chai symbol necklace and is visibly jewish had come to this coffee shop today and was blatantly... ignored for a significant amount of time. All employees saw him standing at the counter including the cashier who was standingat the register in front of him who looked at the floor the entire time he was standing at the counter. He felt so uncomfortableat this coffee location that he decided to leave after many moments of awkward silence. Although we can not say for sure thiswas an antisemitic act, it did definitely feel like one and the manager should have a talk with the employees at this locationabout inclusivity & proper etiquette. This is one of my favorite coffee places in Philly. Everything I've ever ordered has been delicious. They have great coffee and... bagels. The environment is very cozy and it's a nice place to read or get some work done. They also have awesome seasonaldrinks. Read more
The chai latte I got was really good here. There were lots of tables outside in front of and behind the cafe. I was disappointed... by the bagel I ordered. It was hard and had too much cream cheese on it. The wait was a little too long in my opinion for thefood and beverages. Read more
