Food is delicious and I would love to give them 5 stars - was disappointed to see they weren?t dine in anymore - but that?s not... why I?m not giving 5 stars. There?s a bunch of tables barricading the door and as a disabled person, being made to stand out inthe freezing cold and treated like a diseased person wasn?t great. It would be nice if they at least allowed people into theentranceway and asked people to wear a mask. Read more
Grindcore House is my favorite spot for coffee and breakfast sandwiches in South Philly. I get a Mickey G and a latte almost... every Saturday and look forward to it every time! Really nice staff and Great Spot For Vegans, Vegetarians. Id be willing tobet non vegans/vegetarians would like the food/drinks here. Felt like showing them some support. Check them out! Read more
They are pick up only. You order on your phone or wave a barista down through the window. We were told, ?This is us now... forever,? when we stopped by. I don?t know how the food is, or beverages. It used to be good. To be transparent, we did notorder because we wanted to sit down and eat. But I wanted to hop on and leave this review so hopefully they take ?dine in? offof their options. Grindcore always gives me the best breakfast sandwiches and drinks. I have never received an order from here that I do not love.... Will always have a special spot in my heart. I bring my non vegan friends here all the time and they are all amazed with howdelicious the food is. Cannot recommend enough. Read more
Genuinely the greatest place to get a breakfast sandwich and more while still being vegan friendly. Things are made in a timely... manner yet are still absolutely delicious along with many options for milks for drinks. Their matcha lattes are to die for alongwith their wide options of desserts. Staff are always friendly, genuine, and very helpful. Definitely a place worth checking outfor a bite! Read more
I was very impressed! We tried the BLAT and it was so good. The sandwich was perfectly seasoned with the perfect ingredients,... perfectly sized! As well, we had the Kropotkin and liked it better. Highly recommended! The bread was so good too. The coffeewas very good as well. Very reasonable cost! Read more
Been going here since its inception. Probably my favorite cafe in the country. Food is excellent, and priced affordably in a way... most vegan places don?t. A hub of the Philly community, for sure, and an international stop for just about any xvx kid travelingthrough. I?m unsure why they?ve maintained the covid precautions for so long, though. I miss going inside, and most places inPhilly are on such heavy lockdown. The last time I went here, a table was blocking the front doors. It?s weird, and annoying.Not enough to deter me from continuing to support them, but jeez. Read more
