The food was tasty, but theenu left me very confused and unsure what to order. What came out was fresh and full of flavor. Don't... know if I'd go back for lunch, not enough servers,but may try again for dinner. If you're looking for traditional AmericanChinese food this isn't your place. Dinner was great and to be honest the service was even better! We got the Dan Dan noodles (was so hungry we ate them before I... could grab a pic ????), dumplings in chili oil (the oil was soooo good and not too spicy), the crispy rice with chicken (therice is almost like a rice crispy consistency which is fun and great to sop up the sauce, and the honey walnut chicken (thewalnuts are the best part!). The servers were so nice and attentive and let us stay late to watch the Phillies in the WorldSeries. Seriously, everyone was so nice and made it a great experience overall. Some of the tastiest Asian food I have had anywhere. There are a wide variety of options to have your food prepared exactly as... you would like. The food is served family style and brought to the table as they prepare it. Only thing I will note is that itis pretty dark inside. My wife and I, had dinner here last night for our Anniversary and this place was SPECTACULAR! The service was SUPER. Our server... (Shawn) was nothing short of SUPERB! Shawn, gave us great recommendations, and broke down the menu in detail to us. Then, totop it all off, the food was EXCELLENT and AUTHENTIC. The EXPERIENCE was GREAT from the start to the very end! So disappointed that our experience did not match the reviews at all. In fact, our experience was so awful, I wish we never... went. We went for Chinese New Year and there were only 3 tables filled and six people at the bar. The host did not acknowledgeus and we sat at the bar; seems like he was too busy with to-go orders. Food was rather lackluster and took over an hour to comeout. We ordered dumplings, wontons, 3 cup chicken, scallion pancakes and cucumbers. The wontons and dumplings tasted frozen. Therest of the food was cold and tasted like subpar takeout. One of the only pros is the building is truly beautiful on theinside. What truly ruined the night for us and turned this into a nightmare was the bartender?s erratic behavior. She appearedunder the influence. She consistently forgot our order to the point where we ordered a water and a minute later she delivered itto the patron across the bar. Her movements were jerky and her speech was aggressive. She was clearly upset with her coworkerand let everyone at the bar know it. We asked for a Lucky Buddha beer and she gave us a PBR. She was unable to tell us when menuitems we ordered were unavailable, like the green beans, until we finished eating and then still charged us until we pointed itout. She inserted our card multiple times into the reader because she kept putting it in on the wrong side. I get everyone hasbad days but we felt so uncomfortable and service was incredibly slow. Such a great experience! We saw this restaurant featured on one of Anthony Bourdain's shows and we had to try it! The dumpings... in chili oil we fantastic! We wanted to by the chili oil to use at home! The fried rice was DELICIOUS! We ordered the DanDannoodles but we were underwhelmed... not spicy at all. Overall, great experience and great food.
