Reviews for Howard Gittis Student Center in Philadelphia, PA
The Family & Friends end of the year event was fabulous! The food was delicious, the music great !
There are pool tables, a foosbal table (which is so-so), ping-pong tables, tv room and some video game room. I have no idea what... video games are available, but the ones I've seen are pretty basic. Also they have board games but most of them are rather bad.Probably Catan is the only normal board game I would play. There are limited options for eating and drinking (e.g. can't buywater only soda, or anything other than snaks to eat), but the space is good otherwise to chill at Read more

Beautiful campus, right in the middle of Philly.
From the UPS store to Starbucks, the student center got every Temple student covered for his/her basic needs. The great thing... about it is you don't need to show an ID to get in, as this is the place you come to get your student ID in the first place. Allthe societies live here and when they have events, it's most likely hosted in rooms 200B which is quite daunting to find fromthe entrance because there are no useful directions to get from point A to point B here. Arrive early if you're a freshmanotherwise you'd be struggling to locate where you'd want to go like a fish out of water. You can get passport size photos forcheap here too on the second floor, cash or diamond dollars only, but there are two pnc ATMs here that got you covered. Speakingof covered, the wellness center on the second floor sells items such as condoms (all textures, thickness and flavors), dentaldrams etc for the extremely cheap price of 10 cents per condom to nail down the spread of STDs on campus. The Caveat being youneed your Temple ID and there's a 50 condom limit per month in case you wanted to start a side hustle. Read more
Great place for Temple University students! But I don't think this center should be open to the general public as that poses a... security risk to students. I would feel safer having my child hang out there if it were not open to the public. Read more
Great place to grab lunch and meet up with friends. There's a Starbucks and a large bookstore that has a ton of TU merchandise.
