Great atmosphere. Our service was absolutely wonderful! Great drinks and salad. The pizzas looked delicious but unfortunately... weren't to our liking. Very oily, messy and fell off crust. Very friendly, wine choices are mostly dry, nothing sweet. All the food was really good.

It’s a wine bar, so yes it has a great wine selection. But did you know you can buy bottles that you don’t normally find at... a fine wine and good spirits store here? Pretty neato right? The food is good here, nothing to rave about though. Read more

Really wanted to like this place and made a reservation for 2 on my birthday. We go in, get seated at a 2 top, and the hostess... frantically comes up a minute later and makes us switch tables to a 6 person booth because there’s a reservation on our 2 top.Spoiler alert, no one ever sat at that 2 top in the 90 mins we were at the restaurant. The food was okay at best. The shrimpdumpling appetizer really tasted like it was pre made from the freezer section and the sauce had no flavor. The rigatoni wassuch a small portion for the price ($22). The decor was really trying hard to be a nice place, but none of the details reallycame together. I loved everything about my dining experience at Jake’s. We sat outside and it was a beautiful night and perfect spot to... people watch but what really made the experience so great was our server Brittney. She made all the recommendations -at ourrequest and she was right! We had the cheese board and added the meat, calves liver, skirt steak, sweet potato fries and thepetite Syrah wine flight. You can also purchase any bottle of wine in the “store” and pay a cork charge of $20 and enjoy thebottle while you dine-genius! The inside dining is lit well and has beautiful art work displayed throughout. Make a reservationand ask for Brittney… she will do the rest. The fact you can buy a really good bottle of wine for less than $50 makes it my new favorite place in Manayunk. We had the tuna... tartar which was really nice, an amazing pizza, and an oversized dessert. We will definitely be back. Specifically for the wineand pizza! Read more
