After searching for ?best Thai in Philly? and reading many positive reviews, we gave JJ Thai Cuisine a try. We ordered a Chicken... Pad Thai and Shrimp Drunken Noodles for pickup. The order was ready to go inside of their estimated time. As for the dishesthemselves, they were excellent and held up to the expectations. The Pad Thai had the perfect amount of peanuts accompanying thedish and the Drunken Noodles had tasty peppers and veggies. My only critique of the Drunken Noodles would be that I wouldsacrifice the size of the shrimp for a greater quantity. I found myself rationing the medium- to large-sized shrimp to ensurethere was some left for my final bites. Also, the spice level could have been greater but I?ll know next time to explicitlyrequest that. This wasn?t an issue since I had red pepper flakes at home. All that said, this was still amongst the best ThaiI?ve ever had, and will definitely try them out again for pickup, delivery, and dine-in. Read more

Went to explore Philadelphia for the weekend and stopped by this amazing Thai restaurant in the city for dinner. The food was so... good. I wanted to try fancy Thai food. The server was nice and polite, she recommended the sea bass to try. So I ordered panseared sea bass and, of course Thai iced tea in a small bottle. Everything was quit good than I expected. The fish was hot andcooked through inside on top of the bed vegetables, also perfect amount of tamarind sauce. Really enjoyed it. After that, I hadmatcha creme blulee for dessert (just wanted to try something different from mango sticky rice). It was another home run forthis small cozy Thai restaurant in Philly. I definitely come back this place again next time when I come visit Philadelphia.Highly recommended :)) Read more

Ordered a takeout. The staff is very courteous. We had crispy duck salad ( wow! Amazing juicy duck with spicy flavors). Drunken... veg noodles stole the show. However, veg spring roles were very plain. I would love to dine in here. Read more

I am obsessed with Thai cuisine, so I was excited to try JJ Thai for the first time! Our group ordered the grilled lamb lollipop... appetizer, curry puffs appetizer, and fired ice cream dessert. I personally had the shrimp drunken noodles entrée. Everythinghad a great presentation, was delicious, and was given in big portions! The food came out fast and the servers were great. Myonly qualm is that the distance between tables was kind of tight ? but I guess the place being packed is a good sign of thegreat food and service! Read more

Located in the heart of Philly, this sterling restaurant certainly does well in showcasing its impeccable customer service, and... a very welcoming atmosphere and staff; Jubjaeng, our server, was awesome, knowledgeable, attentive, and very helpful. Enjoyedits authentic and unique selection of Thai food. In addition to its tasty selection of dishes, this restaurant is flexible inallowing customers to substitute dish items. It is wheelchair accessible but street parking is a little tough. However, there?sa paid parking lot conveniently within the same block. I highly recommend this restaurant; it was certainly a rare pleasure. Itried their Thai tea, Lamb Lollipop, Drunken Noddles with chicken and shrimp, and Shrimp Massaman Curry. Every bite was freshand enjoyable. Read more
