We have been coming here since 2000. It is our favorite restaurant. We had our rehearsal dinner here in 2005 and it was perfect... . We moved to New Jersey years ago but still make the trip over whenever we can . We have never had a bad experience and thefood is unbelievably good. The prices make it easy to take our family of 5 out for a delicious meal. It's a byob but you canorder from the bar , which is perfect because they make great martinis . Johnnie's is an absolute hidden gem of Philly. The food is incredible. We've been coming here for a long time, even had our... wedding reception here. From small intimate dinners to larger family dinners to our wedding for over 100 people, Johnnie's isalways consistently delicious, hot, fresh. Everything is made to order by Johnnie's right in the kitchen. Definitely worththe trip! Get the 4 cheese pasta to share with everyone at the table, regardless of what else everyone orders. Went there with our neighbors. We have all passed there many times but made our 1st visit last week. They did not disappoint.... Food was plentiful and very very good. Real Italian style. Old school Italian. We love it here. Byob and good value for your money. $20 gets you bruschetta, salad or soup, bread with... roasted red peppers, side of pasta, main dish and ice cream. Read more
