Located inside reading terminal market, I tried lamb shawarma and it was nice, friendly staff.
The friendliest staff for sure. I would give them another try just for the friendliness alone. The mint rosewater drink was good... but not as mind blowing as everyone makes it out to be. The chicken shawarma was very disappointing. They have a spit but itwas not thin cut at all and chunky. I wonder if I would've gotten more flavor if they actually cut the shawarma thin. Read more

Worst ?middle eastern? food I?ve ever seen. The tabooleh tastes far from native tabooleh. The fries are so bland and the... shawarma sandwiches are so salty and messy (and not in the good way, the way they make it in Lebanon or Palestine). Also, afterwe ordered, we saw this sign. They were selling apartheid couscous which is really just stolen Palestinian maftool. Customerservice was also very rude. Not sure if the folks had a rough day but they had such a terrible attitude when addressing us.Kamal needs a reality check because this aint it. Awesome vegetarian platter (and kibbe, but that "disappeared" ???? from the picture) that exceeded my expectations, especially... for "food hall" food. My meal may appear minorly disheveled/like a hot mess in the pic, but that's from the run to the hotel &me ripping the packaging open. SOOO good! Read more
