I went to Philly to visit family from Florida and my cousin refrerred me to this place she said the food and service was... great...so my husband and i went and we sat there for 20 minutes at the counter before anyone can acknoledge us i mean no onelooked our way and there was people of different color and race walking in and they payed attention to them i felt really awfulto have been treated that way considering i was born and raised in this city and a visitor to this restaurant...the food wasgood needless to say but we were treated awful Read more
Great little, no-frills neighborhood spot. It was exactly what we were looking for. Sat at the counter and had fun banter with... the Staff, which is what I really love. Holy mackerel what a great old school throwback luncheonette tucked away in the Port Richmond Section of Philadelphia. Holy... mackerel what a tasty cheesesteak. When in Port Richmond do as a Port Richmondians do, we got sauteed garlic spinach on ourcheesesteak. This Cheesesteak answers the question, what makes a great cheesesteak? It is one someone that knows how to make acheese steak has great ingredients and is trying to make a great cheese steak, ie City of Brotherly Love, Love.
