We dined at La Peg tonight based on the smaller bites and appetizers options. From the second we walked in, the staff was... pleasant. The building and views were great. Tables were spaced out enough to have privacy. Our server Emmanuel was the bestserver we have had. His level of attentiveness and knowledge was what we normally have at 5 star restaurants. He was around theperfect amount of time but also allowed us to have time to enjoy our meal. There was also a younger gentlemen refilling watersand cleaning tables, didn?t catch his name, but he was very pleasant! The food was great. The options were interesting. Theshrimp cocktail was so good, we ordered a second! We ordered 5 small bites and 3 apps and were more than enough full. If we arein Philly again, we will make it a point to eat here again! La Peg has been on my list for a while. Glad I finally stopped by. Always looking for something different. Honestly, best in... warmer weather. They have great outdoor seating / bar. Games including beanbags (cornhole). Inside: great atmosphere / service.Only ordered 2 drinks (bay breeze / diet coke). Friendly bartender, very attentive to all guests. Overall, nice layout / designincluding a second level with tables. Highly recommend and will stop by again to try food! Read more

We were looking for a place to have dinner and found this resto while driving around Christopher Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia,... PA. Very interesting place in a corner location with a very busy street on both sides, cars passing by, very loud motorcycles(the bikers are even doing race with each other). Not to forget the bridge above you, with train passing by and cars too. Withall those noice, we had a unique and unforgettable experience in Al Fresco dining. I am happy of my order, Blackened Salmon, spiced and crispy, field pea & corn succotash, smoked lemon crème. My husband?s is Ribeye and Fries, seared ribeye, greenpeppercorn sauce, crispy fries, garlic mayo. The food was seasoned very well but a little salty. I love the place and we (me, myhusband, daughter, daughters bf and bf?s mom) had a great time. Service is good as well. Read more

A delight for the eyes as well as your taste buds. Amazing interior of the building was fun to see. For dinner, we shared... several appetizer plates and enjoyed a few custom coktails. Really liked the cheese curds and the spicy margarita. We satinside, but made a point of looking around at all of the outdoor areas available on our way out. The beer garden with its ownfood truck is a fabulous idea. The plants and landscaping make the whole place look festive and inviting. Cute spot! Read more

Great drinks and perfect outdoor dinner. Try the cheese curds or chicken sandwich. Good vegan burger as well. Can be a bit... noisy by the bridge. Read more

The service was fantastic. The striped bass was spot on delicious; however, the greens served with it had way to much salt so... that you couldn?t enjoy the rest of the food, and the pickled side dish lacked overall flavor of any kind. Read more

Very great and friendly service! The cocktails were great. The oysters were amazing. I got the grill octopus appetizer which was... very succulent. It came with pork belly and i think it was a bit over cooked because it had a very charred taste and a bitchewy. Nonetheless everything else was delicious. The outdoor seating was nice and a scenic view of the bridge. Although whenthe septa drives from or to new new Jersey, it does get extremely loud so discussions must pause until it passes. Nonethelessit's part of the whole charm. Read more
