Manayunk is a very cool place. La Roca offers Mexican style food like Tacos and the such. Ask for the beer special.
We went inside and instantly love the decor, pleasant staff, drinks, and delicious food. Even after we moved 30 mins away and... thought the food was good enough to travel for. After getting our takeout today , the consistency in food quality isn’t there.The presentation was good but the Chimichanga was like a regular burrito. It wasn’t deep fried at all and tasted okay. I guessit depends on who is the chef that day. There is a younger guy and girl who are really good at cooking the food from ourexperience. Please consider the consistency in each meal because we would like Lo Roca. Read more
Very overpriced for no reason. food is mediocre, drinks are ok, service is slow. One time visit only

This is a great place to hit for happy hour if you want curbside seating on Main St. If your not lucky enough to get a table out... front your still in luck as the large front window opens completely giving the bar area an airy patio feel. The staff ispleasant and accomodating. The 3 stars is mainly because the food is average at best. I have been here several times and triedvarious menu items, everything seems bland with no wow factor. Read more
What a horrible experience!!!! I ordered the “Chicken Empanadas” please look at those 3 little cubes of chicken, this place... is a WASTE of TIME and MONEY!!! La Roca - Manayunk Should shut down if they are experiencing food shortage. I raised the issuewith the General Manager and he told me his never had complaints, and he can give us free shots. La Roca's has amazing food and customer service, lot's of fun! JJ the manager is awesome, very attentive to customers, as is... Zach and all the other staff. Jamie is an incredible bartender, very hands on, loves to chat with customers and make them feelat home and overall this is an excellent atmosphere for blowing off steam, celebrating a party, or just dancing and drinking!Have a wonderful time and big props to the new management and owner!! Rooftop really nice but could use new cushions on furniture. Service was great. She was very attentive. Nachos were meh, but... necessary when drinking! Read more
