(Sigh), the service here was very much subpar. I can pretty much manage 2/10 customer service from time to time. However, I... can’t necessarily bargain with MEDIOCRE FOOD and being taxed with a 20% service charge when there were beyond numerous times Iwas unable to find my waitress, and had to ask others for something simple like a clean knife (the previous knife was CLEARLYunwashed and most likely used without being disinfected) and tartar sauce. Granted, servers these days are limited and strainedwith a lot when dealing with the public, but there were literally about 12 people in the restaurant altogether. Also, I pridemyself on not being a stressful customer or having someone make several runs back and forth to my table; my waitress was justsimply unavailable and unable to locate. As stated previously, the food wasn’t worth raving over and this is coming from anindividual who’s attended this establishment many years ago, and would leave satisfied. This place has kinda went downhill. Firstly they charge you 20% gratuity no matter what. Which is fine, but when service isn’t... that great it makes you have second thoughts. My drink had hair in it, the bartender said “aww I’m sorry” took it andthrew it away. Kept it on the bill, and that was that. The cheesesteak rolls are still pretty good, but the menu price has goneup significantly since we last were there. I've been to this restaurant twice. The food was amazing both times. The bathrooms are cleanish and the radio plays all your... favorite TikTok hits. The only complaint is the drinks. The cocktails are fine but the beer is awful. The Drexel adults the arewaiters made to bartend can't poor or maintain a beer bar. The beer sits in the line and skunks. There is no carbonation. Theypoor a glass of 90% foam and poor out the foam and fill it again until the get something resembling a beer. It's undrinkable.Definitely worth a visit but BYOB . Read more
The food was ok and the atmosphere was nice. This is a nice place to enjoy an afternoon lunch, or a Sunday brunch! Our server,... Michael, is why they only earned two ??! My wife ordered an Irish coffee. It was a little too bland, so she asked for someadditional cream, (to sweeten it); Michael brought her cup back with a large amount spilled on the saucer (almost like he wasoffended that he had to go back and get it for her)! Then, when we asked for the check, he tried to give us someone else's bill,(for almost triple the amount of our own bill). Based on his nonchalant attitude when we pointed out the error, it felt like hegave us the wrong check on purpose! He was also sarcastic and flippant when my wife asked him for his name! Yum to the bread pudding! We just wanted a late night dessert and found the perfect spot to quench our sweets craving! Our food... was served in ample amount leaving no desire for more. Our server Carli was super sweet as well. Can't wait to return for moreyummy food! Read more
This place was perfect for a mid afternoon lunch when in the area. The menu has variety. I got the Cobb Salad with the... addition of a crab cake. The chicken on the Cobb was done just right with a tasty coating and was tender inside. The crab cakewas good, though a tad salty. I would come here again if I felt lucky nabbing a street parking spot within a one block radius. I noticed 20 percent was already added on the bill. I've been reading that in many places these days they don't want you toconsider that a gratuity for the server? Well it was for us, so I hope this particular establishment rewards their wait staff. Liked the place. Staying nearby for the night. Had a spicy burrito with Middle-Eastern flavoring and a couple of great craft... beers. Perfect. Been in 10 different cities in two weeks and just needed something good and close. Read more
If I could give this place zero stars I would. I had one of the worst experiences dining in at this particular restaurant. The... servers are rude and not attentive, oh and here’s the best part… Every check has an automatic 20% included for the their badservers. The manager named Amanda didn’t help the situation at all. I told her about my experience and all she could say isthat they are short staffed. But they didn’t have a wait time to be seated. That didn’t make sense to me. And to top it alloff the food was horrible, wings tasted old drinks were mediocre and my burger came out well done when I asked for it to becooked medium.
