We were there yesterday for a celebration dinner, and absolutely had a wonderful time. The environment was cozy, and had some... great decorations. Also took a visit of their enclosed courtyard. We had a little bit of everything, from appetizer to dessert. But without doubt, my favorite was the pasta and meatballs - it was the largest portion I have ever seen so far (so did myfriend). Had already started thinking about treating another of my friend here sometime next year. Read more

Amazing, 10/10 would recommend. The food was perfect. We went to Little Nonna's for my boyfriend's birthday, he is taking a nap... right now after all that delicious food, lol. Everything we ate and drank was incredibly delicious. We sat in the courtyard, which was beautiful and perfectly warm, on the first night of October. The wait staff were friendly and attentive but notoverwhelming, just right. Little Nonna's is now one of our favorite restaurants. Read more

A pleasant Italian place w/ friendly staff and huge portions which taste good and presented in an appealing way to the eye. It... is the small things that can be improved, like not frying the bread in butter, not presenting the secondo at the same time asantipasti, not offering black pepper mill... but all in all the establishment got the benefit of the doubt and receive a fivestar grade. Amazing!! My boyfriend and I sat outside, ordered cocktails and the cheeseboard to start. Our waiter was so kind and prompt, he... even decided to surprise me for my main meal. It was the rigatoni with sausage and it was perfect!! I definitely will be backhere and want to try the desserts. Not to mention the Sunday Gravy was outstanding. Read more

My boyfriend and I went to this restaurant to get some good Italian food. I didn't have reservations but I called in and they... were able to squeeze us in. When we arrived we parked in a garage nearby because parking is terrible. We walked into a smallrestaurant with tables pretty close. We were sat and Sean was our server and he was nice. They have a limited bar so I startedwith the red sangria and it was good then I got the red wine which wasn't great but I drank it anyway. My boyfriend ordered thespaghetti and I ordered the squid ink pasta and shrimp. The food portions are pretty big and when they came out it looked great. We also ordered garlic bread which was tasty. My boyfriend said his pasta was ok. My meal was pretty good and filling. We had apretty ok time. Read more

This place is amazing. The portions justify the price. The atmosphere and the ambiance are great. Servers are friendly, the... hostess was very accommodating even though we were late for our reservation due to traffic and weather. Food was delicious. Idefinitely recommend. Will be coming back for sure. Read more

The food was delicious, though if you are expecting traditional Italian, you may be disappointed. The menu has a more modern and... upscale flair on some classics. It is a small menu and I don’t recommend for super picky eaters. We had their Sunday gravy andlumache. I loved the lumache! The Sunday gravy had a fantastic sauce, although I was not a fan of their meatball. The Sundaygravy was a large portion and enough for 3 meals, but the rest was pretty small, just like the restaurant itself. The garlicbread came with only four pieces, although it was delicious. The only thing I would not recommend at all is the sangria. Ittasted like a cheap wine to me. Service was great and we did not wait at all with our reservation. It’s a super intimatesetting and perfect for a date night. If you can’t get a reservation, they seemed to be doing tons of takeout. Overall, Iwould recommend this place! Read more

Little Nonna's is one of the reasons why I think about Italian food whenever I visit Philadelphia. I visited Little Nonna's on a... Friday evening after trekking through a rainstorm. I had reservations for 5:30 pm and got to sit in the covered back patio area. There were parts of the patio that weren't ultra rainproof, but most of it was. The space was very warm and cozy with lots oflive plants decorating the space. Got the escarole and apple salad, wild mushroom arancini, and the Sunday gravy. Portion sizeswere very generous, especially the Sunday gravy. The braided beef short rib in the Sunday gravy was so tender the meat basicallyfell apart without really having to chew it. The salad was refreshing and the apples added that extra sweetness and crunchamongst the leaves. Service was great, food was delicious. It's a shame that I can only eat so much for one meal. Lookingforward to my next visit. Read more
