A buddy and me had a great meal tonight. Our bartender and server Rush was awesome! She had a nice chat with us about... textbooks. She also made recommendations for food for us to try, and she was spot on! The empanadas were delicious! The LouBurger was perfect too. Definitely a chill place to grab a bite. Read more

Went for a date night and had a horrible experience. Was sat at 8 when our reservation was for 7:45. Didn’t get our entrees... until 9:25. Didn’t get water until then. Do not recommend. Shrimp was gross. For tip, they automatically included 20% whichwas even more disappointing because the service wasn’t even apologetic for the horrible experience. Worst place I’ve eatenin Philadelphia. Read more

Service was very sweet. Wasn’t too busy and food came out quickly. It just wasn’t anything amazing. I’ve heard lots of... great things said about Lou Bird’s and wanted to try it for myself. Friends got the fried chicken sandwich and chickenfingers. I got the jambon sandwich, which didn’t have much going for it other than the roll. Not mad about the meal, butwon’t make an effort to return. Read more

Stopped in for a drink after dinner. Friendly waitress! We opted to sit outside and enjoy the unbelievably beautiful evening.... Every restaurant with outdoor seating was slammed, so we were happy to find seats here. Felt like a friendly, welcoming localplace that you'd want to visit if you lived around the block. Read more

I hosted my boyfriend’s surprise 30th birthday party at Lou Birds and it was a perfect night! We had around 35 people attend... and were able to have the entire bar and front half of the restaurant to ourselves which was plenty of room. The party was anopen bar with apps/small plates and the food and drinks were fantastic! Our friends raved about the new cocktails on the menuand we had plenty of appetizers/small plates to go around (the pizza was delicious!). If you are looking for a nice spot inPhilly to host a party then I highly recommend Lou Birds. My boyfriend and I visit this restaurant regularly for its welcomingatmosphere and tasty food/drinks and cannot recommend it enough! Check their website to see which Thursdays the band is playingbecause it’s always a good time! Read more

Our server, Maddi, was fantastic. She followed up with several times to make sure we had what we needed. The Brussels sprouts... were amazing. They'd be even better with a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Read more

Came here with friends for restaurant week. I started off with their watermelon margarita that was delicious and super fresh.... The food was okay, but the appetizer and entree portion sizes left much to be desired - I don’t recommend the penne vodka(shrimp nor chicken). I got the cheesecake for dessert which may have been some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff wasfriendly and attentive. Read more

I was disappointed for this being the first place I chose for restaurant week. The food was not as great as I had hoped. The... salmon was good and the dessert. Not worth the amount of money I spent. Staff was very nice and it's a nice environment thoughfood could be better. Read more
