I've heard about this restaurant for a while and finally got to see what all the fuss was about. It was my husband and my 30th... anniversary and this was one of 2 choices for us. Our son got us a gift certificate which made the choice easier. And to getthe 4 star atmosphere grade out of the way, it was only due to it being a little tight in space. That's all. The food wasincredible. They start with complimentary bread with marinated bell peppers. Delicious! My husband had the lamb with polenta andI had the pan seared gnocchi in truffle sauce. Both were mouth watering good (of course we tried each others food). I loved hispolenta so much, I ordered a side to go home with. Dessert was the tiramisu and creme brulee. Yum! A wonderfully classy-casual Italian restaurant, whose ambience and atmosphere communicate clearly that you're in for a... gastronomic treat. Good menu, both food and drinks; when I say this was some of the best lamb I've eaten in years, I'm deadlyserious. Must go back! Read more
What a beautiful and intimate place. Went because of a referral and they did not disappoint. Service was amazing and food was... very delicious. They even helped me surprise my wife with a little detail i gave her for our anniversary. I highly recommendthis place for any occasion. The eggplant stack was very good as were the meatballs. Took forever to get a beer. Main courses we're disappointing. Lobster... ravioli were scarce for the price yet tasty. Only wish their were more. Filet came out under cooked and no one ever came overto check. By the time i could get our waiter over, steak was cold. They took it back and must have microwaved it which prettymuch ruined it and still undercooked in the center. No compensation at all. Not even a drink or desert for a 100.00 pluscheck. No apology from any manager. Also 39.00 for a 16.00 bottle of wine. Ridiculous. In addition they sat a group of 20directly behind us shortly after we started our appetizers. They were loud and obnoxious adding to a bad experience at what isusually a great dinner and atmosphere. We've been going there for a long time but doubt we'll be going back since it seems likethey no longer care about loyal clients. Very sad. Read more
Fantastic place..the staff and food were 1st class. I enjoyed every minute & mouthful. Great sea food, pastas, salads & the rack... of lamb I had was just heavenly $36. Lovely outdoor dining area. I will return when I am back in the USA. Read more
Outdoor bar/seating area is beautiful! Came here for the first time with coworkers and not a single person was disappointed by... the food and drinks. Highly recommend the Bourbon Cobbler and Beet Salad! My group also LOVED the meatballs and Chicken Parm.Will be definitely be stopping by again. Read more

Beautiful gem in the heart of northeast Philadelphia, super easy to miss if you were driving past but you do not want to miss... out on this one! Beautiful seating inside and the outdoor dining area feels like you're in downtown Philly without the drive.Service is prompt, efficient and courteous. Staff was knowledgeable about wine pairings and recommendations. Seasonal menuoptions and a core menu give plenty of variety. 10/10. If you're looking for a more private setting come around 4:00pm and youwill be one of the few inside before the dinner rush. Read more
