We absolutely love Mercato! We’ve been here a couple times & the food is always amazing! The staff is also super friendly. We... also had our wedding dinner here & everything was perfect. We had the restaurant for a private dinner for 30 people. Everyoneloved the food & the ambiance. I highly recommend Mercato for any date night or for a micro event. You will NOT be disappointed. After getting married at Vaux, we rented out Mercato for an early dinner for our small party of 23. Jenny and team were so great... to work with! The chef was amazing and went out of his way to make sure our young nieces and nephews were taken care of ( evenproviding chalk for them to draw outside). Every single one of our family members commented on how great the food and how cutethe space was. If you are considering getting married and Vaux, Mercato is the perfect spot to host people afterwards. Read more
Went for restaurant week. 1st course excellent. My whipped burrata with figs was amazing. Portion big enough to share. I ate... every drop because it was so great. Perfect flavor. My husband had the stuffed meatballs which were great but not reallystuffed. Perfect flavor. I had the fish platter which was good. I deducted a star because my husbands Bolognese looked like abowl of oatmeal and he didn’t like it because it looked so bad. My Tiramisu was great my husbands sherbet came melted. All inall I loved it a lot , my husband not too much. I am changing my review to 5 stars because I ate dinner there with 6 women andwe all had amazing meals and appetizers. This was a mixed bag experience. It has left me torn!! I went to dinner w/ family, where we dined in. This is a BYOB... Restaurant. It's a small, quaint and Kool place to dine. When making reservations or walking in be sure to ask if there is aCorkage Charge. Oh.... Right now, no mask are required. Mercato has an area for outside dining, where the entire street isblocked off from traffic. In addition, there is sidewalk and inside/outside dining. What do I mean? Well... The entire frontside glass of the restaurant opens up. It makes One feel as though your dining outside, yet you're inside. All of the Staffwas courteous, professional and friendly. Our Server Professional was Arron. She was "Fantastic"... Why am I torn w/ myreview & rating then? It was the food!! I ordered "Crab Fra Diavlo". It had a unique Taste, Black Pasta and Sauce that wasphenomenal. That was the issue!! It wasn't supposed to have just sauce. The meal was supposed to have "JUMBO LUMP CRAB" init. However, it was NO WHERE to be found. Maybe The Crab was hiding or went back into it's shell?? This was a "HUGE"Disappointment. We also had Clam Toast, which was kinda weird. It wasn't tasty and why the bread? Just give me TheClams!! The Menu is small, so there's not alot to choose from. This needs to be expanded to a few more items. I would like togive Mercato another try. It has a lot going for it. However, the food needs an upgrade in the portions provided. MercatoManagement needs to understand a basic philosophy. Not a fan of the entrees but appetizers and desert was really good. Ambience was calm and soothing. Lovely location. Poor... parking access. Service was decent. Overall ok. Nothing special to say other than the view of the outdoor seats of the trees andbuilding was calm and soothing. Read more
This place has been good for so long. A staple we always like to come back to. Never disappoints.
