I had gone there for restaurant week had the tomato with cheese the fruit was fresh hanger steak was cooked exceptionally the... coating on the donuts was barely visible simplistic decor had a friendly waitress in the beginning but then progressively hadgotten worse hardly checked on our table. Dirty dishes were left on the table after five minutes considerating i would not haveminded if they were busy but the time that it had happened there only had been us and a table of 4 sitting next to us. The placeis fairly small horrible stairs to walk up be careful. They had sat us in a uncomfortable inconvenient corner of the room eventhough they did not have a full house. Small portions only saying because i had been to prime rib, amada, dandelion, ruth chris,and this was unexceptional. Everything had been overly salted the only person that had made me feel remotely welcomed was theback server. The bathroom is tiny and the door tends to get jammed which in turn could really damage someone seeing that it isright across from the bag. They would not give me a bar for my doggy bag that i had to go and ask them for certain things. Came here for our friend's birthday dinner and the food and service was excellent!!
We had reservations for 815pm on a Wednesday. We tried the tasting menu and were not disappointed. It is a small room, so my... suggestion is to not arrive too early. They were full up when I arrived 15 minutes early. They are a BYOB, so no waiting area.They are a little pricey, but the ability to bring your own booze mitigates that issue. Staff were very attentive, with not ahint of tension, as we lingered for three hours. Lastly, the decibel level can make conversation challenging when the room isfull. Read more

Roasted eggplant was delicious, as was the romaine salad w/buttermilk dressing. The roasted cauliflower entree stood blandly... alone without even a smidgen of a side. One is indeed a lonely number. The Arctic Char had nicely seared skin, but a mushytexture. Both entrees had very bad seasoning; first time we ever had bitter olive oil. Read more
Fantastic restaurant where the food is delicious, the dishes are innovative and the service is excellent. I have always enjoyed... eating at Mica even if I have to drive a bit to get to the restaurant. Parking can also be a little challenging so going on aweekday always works better. Also a great beverage program so definitely don't skip if you enjoy a great cocktail or some greatwine. Great for a special night out or having a great dinner with friends. Read more
