WOW. Hands down one of the best meals I’ve ever had. I had the chef’s tasting menu and OH MAN was it GOOD! Service was... perfect (thank you Hannah!), timing of courses was spot on. Dinner can only be described as an experience well worth having. Surprised my friend with coming here and both very much enjoyed... everything. The atmosphere, the staff, the food. Came here to celebrate my husband's birthday and will always be remembered as the best dining experience we've ever had. We... ordered the olive wagyu and it was beyond words delicious. Hands down was the best dinner we've ever had. Alongside thewonderful meal we were also provided wonderful service by our server Anna. We went to Morimoto for a Christmas Eve dinner. We went with their special Omakase menu. Our waiter was a serious hype man for... the cuisine. He was super excited about all of the dishes. It was a LOT of food. We had to wrap the sushi course up and take ithome. The quality of the ingredients was amazing. The presentation was perfect. I’m only giving it 4 stars because while itwas a beautiful meal, nothing blew me away. It was a $500 meal (with 20% tip) for 2 people. The waiter was awesome but there wasjust something missing. I've heard for years how good Morimoto is, i finally went last week, and they exceeded their reputation! Everything was... absolutely delicious! (the wagyu dumplings in particular were fantastic) The decor is very cool; sleek, modern, art-deco-ish.The layout is very nice, roomy, customers aren't squeezed together. The vibe is upscale casual, and the ambiance is very nice;not noisy, cool music...you can actually have a conversation. The menu is sushi/seafood, but, they have plenty of non-seafoodselections. (my companion had sushi, I had the tempura chicken) The staff is top-notch, very professional. Warning: it is alittle on the pricey side, but the quality is worth it, in my opinion. Read more
Atmosphere is great and the staff is absolutely kind and lovely! The presentation and look of the food is stunning, but in the... end it feels like it's more style over substance. The food is a work of art, but not overly flavorful. I think I must have hadhigh expectations as well given the price point.
